I fished in many of the Bob Church Cobblers invitational fishing matches. Really nice chap, hopefully I will be back in the UK for the funeral.

RIP Bob, a lovely man and true Cobblers supporter throughout his long life. Many reading this would not know Bob to look at but if anyone saw a gentleman struggling slowly up the concourse steps holding on to the handrail often supported by his wife to get to his seat that was Bob.His determination to watch his Cobblers for as long as phsically possible was truly inspiring.

Bob represented a group of individuals at the time who as directors or associates genuinely loved the club - collectively they perhaps had a little more money than the average supporter but never at the level of the multimillionaire chancers that now sadly dominate in boardrooms up and down the country - however unlike those they will always be remembered as true and honest supporters of a club. Thank you Bob a life well lived and your support genuinely appreciated.
