Exactly why the fook did he take Williams off ! 11 players in the penalty area desperately hoofing the ball away, we were playing Morecambe FFS they were terrible and should have won it in the end.
I think he did it because Morecambe had a couple of breakaways just before, but at least we were still having chances too. After the substitution it became one way traffic and we just let them have the ball for wave after wave of attacks, as we have done so many times before in recent years and we practically always concede. Will our management and players ever learn from this. Then, after they'd equalised, we decided to start playing again and could have won the game. Infuriating.

I'll say it again, we are not as fit as a lot of teams in this division. Lack of skill you can accept but there is no excuse for lack of fitness.
I think there is substance in what Barton is saying but KC's negative tactics when we lead and his baffling substitutions have also to be called into question.

Absolutely. Just go for three, and then pass around, instead of sitting back. We clearly cannot hang on to a two goal lead.

According to Commentators it was not fitness. I deplore the childish comments of those not there; just await the comments from those actually there

Fitness is an issue, they can’t play with intensity for 90. That said I think it’s more to do with a defensive mindset and instructions from the bench. I saw Curle telling Adams not to take a quick free kick when we were 2-0 up, motioning to slow things down... We went all back into the 18 yard box, hoofing it out to nobody and it comes straight back...then when it’s 2-2 we start pushing forward again and had chances to win at the death.

Four points thrown away from two goal leads in successive weeks. That is piss poor. Can’t be blowing a two goal lead to a side as poor as Morecambe, that’s unacceptable.

This is the 5th time this season (including Swansea) that we have conceded costly late, late goals so if it is not fitness then it is the negative tactics employed in defending a lead and the use of substitutes. There can be only one person responsible for that. Question Everbrite - why invite opposition sides on on to you and defend in and from the edge of your penalty area? You don't have to have been at Morecambe or been at the game against Crawley to comment on that.

Yet another soft long range shot for their 1st that Cornell was no where near! Thought Curle cost us the game again though and with his tactics just don’t see us going up. Looked comfortable at half time and started 2nd half brightly enough but big mistake to take off McWilliams, we lost control of mid field after that and with Williams taken off as well no closing down up top. Even at 2-0 we didn’t look convincing.

Well perhaps he should shout at them or get instructions to them to get out then, rather than stand there with his arms folded. Do you think they sit back, Hoof the ball, and waste time because they just feel like doing it??

Surprise surprise!
Evers is a hypocrite of the highest order. You do not need to be present, in order to formulate an opinion. I note from some of his previous posts, that he was a former clergyman. If in the past, he has offered an opinion from the bible, then it cannot be valid, as he WAS NOT PRESENT. Indeed the arrogant one attempted to tell me, earlier in this post , that my GPs diagnosis on my medical condition was incorrect. Who the fcuk does he think he is? Apologies for ranting mods, but this would be a far better board in his absence.

a) fitness b) crap substitutions c) inexplicable tactics

In my opinion, A+B speak for themselves, C equates to predictable tactics. Get a lead, and sit back deeper and deeper. And invite pressure. And fail.

To be honest we were not very good in the first half, it was just that Morecambe were really poor. Second half, if Harriman was not injured could not understand the substitution. We were fully in control. The second substitution cost us dear .... Simply inviting Morecambe on to us; bringing on Oliver would have been the better option. Both goals conceded were really poor. And yes, we should have got a winner at the end, so why did we not play with the same urgency throughout the second half.
