So, we had to sunny Scunny on Satdee. Can this team break the 39 year winless run?
I find these kind of stats amazing. We haven't won in our last 20 visits stretching back to 1980. It's different players, often different managers, yet still we just don't win there. You'd think that this year is as good a chance as any to break the hoodoo. They're not exactly firing on all cylinders.  Need Charlie Goode and Turnbull back. Just need to watch out for the old Cobblers striker scores against us curse in Van Veen. I predict a 2-1 win.

Of course, they’ve moved grounds in that time, so Glanford Park must be our unluckiest ground. Never had a win there.

Worth a punt on him scoring I would think?

I have a complete lack of affection for Scun*horpe and would love us to turn them over and see them go down.
Horrible place , boring journey and an annoying Ian Botham suite .
Would like to see Goode have Van Veen in his pocket and the Dutchman get almighty stick from the away faithful .

By the sounds of it the team announcement at 2pm could be interesting if this virus has been going around the squad.

Looking at the Scunny squad , they remind me of us this time last season . They must have a heavy wage bill and players they can’t shift .

A performance so bad it actually ended up being funny, with the gallows humour of us cheering the 6th and 7th Scunny goals. I was there for the 0-5 a few months earlier too....not a happy hunting ground.

Like you say, having won a game 5-1 a few days before the last thing anyone expected was such an insipid performance as that.

Yes, I was there for the 0-7 defeat. As you refer, we'd beaten Mansfield 5-1 on the Tuesday night so went the in good heart. That was just so Cobblers....

Tinkerman is back!!

You want him to be the first manager in history to name the same side for a league match from a midweek EFL game?

Hope I’m wrong but not seeing too many goals in that team
