We need a modern manager with fresh ideas . Someone that can connect with players and the public .
Get Jon Brady in with an experienced head as a number 2

Who do you think? Gordon S?

Missed the game as travelling for a weeks holiday and glad I did. I can’t remember having such a run of dissatisfaction with managers. We just don’t seem to kick on from mediocrity? There’s the odd performance like Plymouth and then just when we appear to be kicking on, it’s back to the drawing board. I think we miss a settled side and McCormack will and was always going to make a huge difference and if he can stay fit I expect us to do considerably better? Unfortunately even if he does this might be his last season so we could be desperately looking for similar next summer? With regards to Curle, getting rid of him is 10% of the decision. You simply have to have a clear vision of what you want to achieve and who you want to replace him. I am not suggesting he shouldnt be replaced, just that if he is make sure it’s not another shot in the dark c0ck up. For me the criteria should be a 40%+ win ratio, a reputation for attacking football, a proven record of building successful squads from scratch and no unjustified failures. If you sack and can’t fulfil that criteria what’s the point?

Not a real supporter but unelected chair of the Northampton Town Honorary Supporters Club. (Please note: any opinions given may not necessarily be shared by proper supporters. In incidents of conflict the views of real supporters shall take precedence).

It’s pretty inexplicable that Pollock can go from a very good display against Cambridge (and a very promising run at the end of last season) to not even being in the squad yesterday. KC really isn’t helping himself in team selection at the moment.

Nothing much to add other than the lower mid table mediocrity continues as predicted - one highlight for me was McCormack (who must wonder why he is playing out his career with this woeful manager).
KVN predictable behaviour and matched a classy goal with total lack of class on the celebration - Radio numpty man cam unstuck suggesting it was justified, with Martin Smith embarrassing him by saying he had never behaved like that when scoring against a former club. Red card very harsh but looking at the replay seems he missed the ball and connected direct with the keeper - clearly no intent and how the linesman can call that from his distance is beyond me. Interesting if the club appeal on this one.
I think most realistic fans now feel this season is finished - of course not mathematically (in either direction!) but in less than 12 weeks KC has managed to set out a clear agenda of boring football, bizarre team selections , bad results and all accomplished by his team - most of which are frankly no better than last seasons squad.

I would like to know where Kaja is, as he has looked quite promising in his few cameo appearances. They told us a few weeks ago that he had a 'minor injury' at the same time as Billy Waters. Waters is now fit but we have not seen Kaja since and the club have not even mentioned him. Does anyone know ?

He looked ok when I saw him going into the gym before the orient game, having said you’d have thought that if he was fit he would have featured in the Cambridge game. Who knows with KC selection bingo and the complete lack of fitness updates.

It’s a pointless conversation because Curlio will never drop Hoskins or Adams.
