Remember this thread? Good job we stuck with him and he's been rewarded with a new two year deal. Some stability at last but how long into next season will it be before the knives are out?!

Interesting to read some of the comments; some had their knives out after 13/17 games others said give him more time. We now know whose judgement was right.  All good fun though Wink

Well,it didn't take long for all the smart *rses to come out. The season hasn't even started. KC has bought some time with even his strongest critics because he has achieved a memorable end of season, but if we get relegated I would expect some criticism to re-appear.

I am enjoying the summer thanks and really enjoyed our end of season. I just don't like people coming on here predicting that many of their fellow supporters are just KC bashers. What's pathetic about that?

To be fair it is quite boring, Cobblers have a great end of season pulling off an unbelievable promotion. You just know somebody will troll  back through the threads to pull sh1t like this up. Happening all over social media, whats wrong with some people ? They just love to try and put other fans and the Club down.

I suppose it depends on the nature of the previous comments. Some "supporters" are quite happy to accentuate the negatives all of the time. Often they exhibit behaviour that they would never consider in in any aspect of their life, should they be face to face with someone. Keith Curle was brought in to achieve an objective. On occasions, his method of achieving promotion may not have resonated with some of the support. If they take that as an opportunity to suggest he is inept, or should be relieved of his position, that actually speaks volumes about their lack of understanding.

The good thing about promotion and the news from the club and the council, is that most of those that got it spectacularly wrong, have disappeared. That's because good news to them, is like a cross to a vampire. I'd imagine they are logging in for the obituaries thread. For them, that's the gift that keeps giving.... The overall lesson should be "least said, soonest mended"...

Sometimes it can be fun to go back and see what it was you were saying. Just ask Danny  Grin

Thats a tad OTT.
We are all entitled to opinions just because a few (and it is only a few) get 'subtle' reminders on former opinions but it is those who preached all day long on the short comings of the team and KC. As for trolling it happens on here. No names/id have been mentioned so no flaming or personal trolling has occurred. Only if the cap fits ....................

Totally agree It would be nice if they could give some credit to the club and the owners sometimes, I know the owners don't always do the right thing but tbh I am very pleased with where we are at the moment as a club. We have a team that has performed well, a manager that is building an identity and owners that have financially backed the club over the last few years. Whats not to like?
Granted a nice new stand would be good lets just enjoy what we have.
