Very disappointed with cobblers fans today with regards to the 19th min applause thought we were better than that
Did you start it off? Or attempt to publicise it anywhere else than here? Had no idea one was planned, or probably more accurately, that you had planned one

tried to start off applause in north stand and if u go back on this thread I mentioned the applause at all home games and made a point of getting those green ribbons at the game today that u might have seen some people wearing actually so hope that answers your question

So the 100 people who read this thread may have seen it, but the other 4,600 there today would have had no clue.

I'm happy to support the campaign, over the years I've spoken to Harry's dad at Cobblers games all over the country, I drive through his village every day to go to work, the support being shown is immense. Although well intended, your attempt to arrange something at the game, NTFC87, was poorly organised, so pleased dont berate your fellow supporters when it doesn't work.

Saw some people wearing green ribbons yesterday. To consider a minutes applause or similar tributes it needs a wider social media campaign or involvement of the club. Try again, I'm sure it would be well supported if people knew.

Just read this thread........didn't know about the minutes applause or what the green ribbons were for, until I asked someone so count me and my mates in on the 4,600. I will def join in this Saturday and buy a ribbon if I see anyone selling them.

Donated and got green ribbon from Carr's Bar on Saturday. To be fair, asked a few times back in Oxford what it was in aid of. Had also sent news links to family in Kansas City when news broke - my dad was at Croughton in the late Fifties...if that is spreading the word!

On behalf of the Trust, myself and one of my colleagues are due to be meeting up with Harry's Dad after the game tomorrow to see how we can support this. So any ideas, please comment below and we can go through them with him.
Harry's Dad was in the States until last weekend and we felt it appropriate to speak with him first properly before just organising something. We unanimously agreed at last weeks meeting to support it, but tomorrows game has come a little too soon to get anything organised for the reason mentioned.
Cheers, Shane.
