I guess it will all be spent on the new stand.

Has any other town had their football and rugby clubs televised home matches at the same time? A bit of an oddity.
Traffic and parking will be a nightmare. I know other clubs cope with 20,000 people going to a match but we seem to struggle with it.

Gutted to be missing this. Hopefully i can sneak away from the trade show, before it ends at 8 , grab some food from the restaurant and find a corner to sit  and watch it on my phone , if left alone. I know where i would much rather be, but a small consolation i can still watch it live.

Yes. But the poster said "we have made" not "we might make this if a, b and c happen" I only know that KT must be gutted that FA Cup prize money isn't "undisclosed"

Indeed....but potentially.............. we could have another £180,000 if we win in the fourth round, £250,000 if that extra bonus thing is actually a thing, and a fifth round tie with gate receipts and TV money to look forward to again.

I'd say we would have made a million if we beat Derby........not yet though!
Just reduces the debt from £5 million to £4 million ........
I don’t think much of that will go into players or the stand

Of course our cup run means that Cheltenham away will need to be rescheduled for a Tuesday night.

BT Sport. Great...

Anyway, I thought the FA Cup was "the people's cup" and free to all.

Do BT Sport do PPV?

Apparently not, but I would assume that Northampton will be on at a BT Sports showing pub, can't be sure of which version though... Roll Eyes

Bet 365 had a deal going for the third round but the FA have stepped in and the Terms and Conditions have changed, not sure if the revision will include the Friday night match?

when the fa cup was shown only by a terrestrial broadcaster there would be one match per round broadcast so not really sure what the problem is with the club making £140k that they wouldn't have done a few years ago

That issue might become quite an emotional issue in one or two places around town !

I can't remember when it was last Terrestrial only....must be a good few years ago!! Sky, BT, Setanta have all had a slice of the pie since 2003.

The "good news" is that ITV won the rights from BT so from 2021-22 it will be back to all terrestrial again.

Having received yellow cards against Notts County and Burton I believe Turnbull will be suspended for the Derby game.

The FA cup is not a separate competition. If he gets his 10th booking, currently he has 8, in the next two, he will be.

According to the article I read, dated 23rd September 2019, it stated that yellow cards only applied to the competition in which they were issued, whereas red cards were not.
In FA cup or Carabao cup 2 yellow cards warranted a 1 match suspension but all yellow cards were wiped at the 1/4 final stage and no player would be suspeneded for the final.
If yellow cards were not competition specific Turnbull having 8 in the league and 2 in the FA cup would now have reached 10 and be due a suspension. He will get a 2 match league suspension if he gets another 2 yellows in the next 6 league games. Similarly Hoskins has 7 yellows and needs to avoid another 3 in the next 6 matches.

One ticket per person is a real pain when trying to sit with people you regularly go with .
Is there any leniency on this at all if people are on the system ?

Basically , you either have to queue up with someone - impossible if you live away or are at work or sit on your own.
You should be able to buy for someone else if they are on the system .

Boot and Shoe, are the people you go with season ticket holders /members ? if you go regularly with them why are you not a member ?
The system is there to benefit fans who put themselves out a bit, they get first dibs on the tickets.

Do you not get allocated your regular season ticket seat?
