I think it's been a bit over the top. I've heard a lot worse at home and away games from cobblers fans but the word pikey really what a joke we've sang to long haired players GYPO GYPO nobody's said f***all about that before

If Pikey and Gypo is derogatory is Jock, Taff, Limey and Sheila or just slang names?

Good Morning Cobblers,
First of all lets just say congrats on the win the weekend, it was deserved in my opinion, we didn't bring our a game at all.
Now lets get down to the unfortunate talk point which isn't football, I was there Saturday, followed Salford home and away for years (before the take over) and I have never witnessed and racist abuse from the Salford fans at all. Its absolutely disgusting its being labelled as Racist chanting, on Saturday our fans were actually subdued compared to the usual away noise we make (only a few but louder than you).
What I don't understand is if there was any so-called "racist" chanting why didn't the stewards or police eject the "fans" from the stadium is this is the case? of course they would, there was NO racist chanting, im salfordian proud and I don't want to be tagged with the word racism. there is no room for it within the game, lets kick it out, and lets move on from this as it didn't happen and I don't want my beloved club being dragged through the mud!

Salford City, you should have been in a better position to hear any chanting, racist or otherwise, from your fans. But there was definitely some chanting directed towards the people at the fairground from your supporters. As a point of interest how are Salford City FC approaching the matter ? Seeing as Salford fans are being blamed for this, how are they dealing with the allegations?

The problem is that it dilutes the real issue . The situation at Yeovil seemed serious and this has just been thrown in the mix to make it sound worst than it is .

I don’t disagree, however there will be officers out to make a name for themselves, and what happened at Sixfields could be seen as an example of this.
