For those like Artell, who evidently think that being good at doing tricks like keepy-uppies, hit the cross bar, step-overs, etc., when they don’t result in a goal, deserves more reward. Perhaps we could have a VAR review system at matches so that the ref can decide if the poor souls should be awarded ‘half a goal’. This would ensure that everyone has a chance of going home happy...nobody likes to see a near miss...that’s too boring!

Their keepy uppys seem to be working so far and I would have them as bankers for promotion. It's interesting that when fans don't like a manager they grudgingly accept the results but complain about the style of play, Calderwood springs mind here. It looks like Crewe fans have the luxury of both - wins and entertaining football.

I'm not sure I'd have any team as bankers for promotion at the moment. Swindon, Bradford, Crewe, FGR, Cobblers, Newport and Plymouth are all capable of going up this season IMO. I fancy the 4 promoted will be Bradford, Plymouth, Cobblers and Newport myself. Time will tell!

Crewe imo are unlikely to grab an auto spot and may have to face the play off lottery - Newport will fade as they are now doing. Plymouth had a good start but have faltered so are likely play-off candidates. So my predictions are Bradford,Swindon,Cobblers with Plymouth possible play off winners. Exeter to fade as well. Bradford bit arrogant 'too good'for this league and their forum is not a happy place! Anybody know a bookie with good Cobblers odds?

You can still get 25/1 to win the league and around 5/1 for promotion. A couple of wins and that will go down rapidly, it's pretty similar to the odds offered at start of the season. Many football tipsters are suggesting to get on us to win tomorrow at around 10/11 which seems decent odds to me.

I reckon Colchester are a good shout an all Doc. I’m sticking to me guns though, McCormack stays fit we’ll go up, if he don’t we won’t. I’m tempted to say the same about Goode as well?

Thks - 10/11 sounds awful! Shouldn't think we would get much back on £100? 25/1 looks tempting bookies name please!

You £100 would have got you £91 today, not a bad return. Put that on the Cobblers to win on Sunday and you will be starting to get a nice pot for your future bets. Bet365 are still offering 25/1 for The Cobblers to win the league but be quick as that will be gone soon.
