Some excellent performances today against a very good Crewe side, but Goode was outstanding for me. He looks more assured all the time, puts his body on the line and makes some excellent runs out of defence.

I'm going for Alan McCormack, we are SO much better when he's in the team.

Oliver for me, won everything up top and held the ball up well.

Wharton a very close second, with McCormack, Goode and Anderson also having good games.

mCormack. Very quickly challenging for a place in my best Cobblers team in the last 30 years. Utterly brilliant. Those 2 tackles...

I don’t think anyone had a poor game today.
Many strong candidates but for me it’s
Scott Wharton
Quality defending as well as the two goals the second of which he took superbly.

There is no doubting the influence Alan McCormack had on the game, its likely he will be a contender for MOM whenever he plays.
Also Goode, Oliver and Anderson were all terrific. But it's not often your centre back scores a brace of goals and hardly puts a foot wrong in defense. So for that reason I'm going for Wharton.

A great team performance but for me McCormack completely owned the midfield and gets my vote.
