Could we give them Harry Smith back before they fold?
In all seriousness, the situation was never that bad that we had to cancel a fixture like they have, and Bury did before them.
I don't see a way back, with various misconduct charges hanging over them, and now games being called off its only a matter of time before they get a deadline. That deadline would be difficult to keep as it would include such things like business plans, potential new owners etc, none of which appear to be on the horizon.
A club that has bounced around between non-league and League 2 (barring one season in the old League 1) and has only achieved an average crowd in excess of 2000 twice in the last 11 seasons doesn't have a lot going for it.
There really is no way back without a sugar daddy(or person, one shouldn't be sexist), their outstanding debts to staff, players, HMRC and Campbell is enough to finish them. I was wondering if the rules for sports clubs are different as they are at this moment in time trading whilst insolvent which is not allowed for everyday companies.
