Here you go folks. All your rumours, counter-rumours and down right ridiculous rumours.

A proper thread for the new transfer window, some seem to think we're still in the summer!!  Shocked

What about Danny Hylton on loan from Luton - I think they’re looking to loan him out to get fit but to be honest I think even if he’s fully fit he’s not good enough for the championship.

If he is an 'out and out' striker why does he normally play wingback this season?

I've been saying from the moment I saw him, if he could learn how to defend he'd make a wingback. How's he getting on in the defensive dept?

As Alan McCormack is only on a 12 month contract I would try to extend this for another year instead of leaving it until the end of the season. Should we achieve promotion to div.2 I am confident that he would still be influential.

I’m inclined to agree - with the contracts of the likes of Turnbull, McWilliams, Pollock, Morgan Roberts, Andy Williams, Oliver, Cornell and Hoskins all expiring in June it might be an idea to get some of them tied down.

I agree entirely.  If only to increase their value if they move on in the Summer.

The current plan on performance is going well.

So, the one position that needs that extra investment is a solid, street-wise Centre-Back (or two!).  Not someone who needs time to bed-in, but, someone up and ready.  Although we have Williams and Hughes coming through, old-heads will be needed for the promotion push.

We need to be wary that the performances of Wharton have him in the frame for an early recall by Blackburn.

Maybe a cheeky loan bid for Richard Stearman, with a clause to sign him permanently after we get promoted?

We need a contract extension for McCormack as suggested. We then need to sign another McCormack and then a third just in case the other 2 get injured?

Fulham are prepared to let young goalkeeper Magnus Norman leave. His contract expires at the end of the season. AFC Wimbledon, Bristol Rovers & Northampton are said to be interested.

If that is true ... and it’s a big if .... Cornell would appear to be on his way .
