I think any criticism of Arnold is unwarranted, he was offered no protection and prevented a further 2-3 goals. Saw him at Portsmouth and he played really well. Think Cornell would have done no better yesterday

Agree with the first and last on your list. Arnold is no competition for big Dave.

He , himself would not be happy with conceding the first two goals . He is not blameless .

I heard that as well today - we were supposed to be interested in him in the summer. Sounds like he’s a centre forward/left sided attacker but he played today for Hamilton in the Scottish prem so probably would be a bit unlikely?

Wow, quality!! Did you see who scored Hamilton’s winner today? None other than David Moyo, a player who rarely got near our first team.

Moyo may have scored but let's not forget this is the division that Taylor, Foley, Morias and Long now ply their trade.

When our cast-offs end up in the SPL fans say it just shows what sort of quality that league is (outside of Rangers and Celtic), but now we are getting excited about signing a player from Hamilton Academicals? A player who has scored 11 goals in 60 games at that level? Having banked over £100k from our Cup run so far (with a trip to Burton to come) i'd be disappointed if our sights weren't set a little higher than a striker who is playing left wing for a mediocre Scottish team. Will Cornell go? Will Waters finally get his move back to Cheltenham?

Do you seriously expect better? You need to wake up. And the mediocre Scottish team, are playing in the Scottish Prem. Which as we all know, apart from two teams, is probably on a level par with us. We are not going to spend £100k on anybody, or even close to that amount. We are what we are. A lower league yo-yo team, that might get the occasional promotion, but pretty soon come back down again. And that is not about to change any time soon.

I see what you did there 😁. Sc***horpe at home on a cold Tuesday night, I’d be surprised if we break 4,000.

Well done Irchy. Yes expect a low turn out as Scunny won't bring many and the home support always dips on Tuesday night games.

FFS Curle sign a creative player who can get the chances that our forward players can finish.
YOU HAVE 80% of the players that can play but hoofing it long with no quality isn't working. Time to sign a footballer and play with better tactics pal.

I don't "expect" any better this time round as there's not a sniff of any Chinese takeover! I'd "like to see" the extra revenue being spent on exciting players, but i'd guess that the extra revenue will go towards covering the shortfall in attendance revenue caused by Curles boring turgid brand of football.

And yet here we sit in the play off places, imagine where we would be if he had half a brain. Perhaps we should replace him with the Stevenage manager who thought his team was 'magnificent' yesterday despite rarely threatening our goal. He also thinks that between now and the end of the season they will win more than they lose.

I don't think we played well yesterday, in fact I thought along with Mansfield it was probably the worst home performance of the season. However I did think Stevenage were half decent and looked nothing like a bottom of the table team. I also agree to an extent with their manager, in that I think they will stay up. Last week Plymouth also struggled to break them down and only won with a goal scored deep in injury time, so they are becoming a difficult team to beat.

I don't think that Stevenage are now becoming a difficult team to beat as they have been the same all season, 7 draws in 13 away games with only 15 goals conceded. Their problem lies at the other end of the pitch as they have only scored 6 times in those 13 games and despite some occasional nice interplay our goal was rarely threatened. They may still stay up as Morecambe have been conceding more goals but they do carry more of an attacking threat. Also there are other poor teams only a few points above. Bringing only 252 fans to what would be one of your nearest away fixtures and usually only getting home crowds of around 2000 do they deserve a football league club? I am aware that several other division 2 teams also get woefully small home support ( as do division 1 Burton). However, I imagine most of our supporters would prefer Stevenage to stay up as it is a local game.
