If we are going to cement a top 7 place we really need to be looking for more quality in several positions, particularly LWB and strikers/attacking areas.
isnt adams playing LWB!?

I assume the thinking behind it would be to bring a decent LWB in and switch Adams onto his more natural right side?

We have been linked to Ridehalgh before. He has not been in Tranmere's starting 11 since the 4-2 defeat at Burton, sometimes not being in the 18.

Well, he is a left sided defender but I think that is the sound of the bottom of the barrel being scraped. Hopefully it’s just a combination of lazy journalism and active agents.

This transfer window seems to be providing us with an answer to whats more boring than watching paint dry?
Without a shadow of a doubt we need a some wingers, someone who is going to put more bums on seats. I've always been a massive fan of Nathan Thomas at Curly boys old club, someone in his mould would be lovely stuff.

As long as we don’t loose Williams or Wharton. Both massive for the run in.

Ben Coker at Lincoln has been told he is free to find another club - left back/left wing, started with us in the youth team and has always struck me as decent.

I am baffled as to when people started using Loose in place of Lose. I never noticed it a few years ago but seem to spot it all the time now.

I think there are going to be a lot of disappointed people through inflated expectations this transfer window.
Although we have a little extra in the bank that would only really come into play in regards to a transfer fee, Budgeted money should not be used to cover wages.

Why not if you split the capital over the length of the players contract?

I suppose but even £1,000 a week is going to be £104,000 for a 2 year contract.

Ex Colchester left sided player Brennan Dickenson has signed for Exeter from McPlastics.
I wonder if we were in for him? I have thought for a while that he would be useful for us.

Judging by Curles's comments on the offy site today, it doesn't look as if anyone will be signing soon.

Happy to wait another two weeks as long as they're the right players

Agree, hoping to see some game time for young Roberts & for Warburton to push on too

Former loan player of ours, back in 2014. Did well at Col U but didn't really get much of a chance at MK, now he's at Exeter......he gets around!
