After what we have all witnessed at the weekend about Salford and the fair play regulations, they have signed Bruno Andrade from Lincoln today, for an undisclosed fee, so that's another one to pay from their £15,000 per week gate money  ::

Apparently they have paid £200-250K (undisclosed) and offered him "roughly treble" what he was earning at Lincoln which Lincoln would/could not match...

Salford have just issused ( last week)£2.5m worth of new shares in the Club, thats where they have got there recent money from. Standard thing to do when trying to move a Club forward, nothing wrong in that.

I very much doubt it's that simple otherwise why didn't every other club threatened with the fair play rule just do the same?

My singular observations on the games was that it was flippin hard work to win! We certainly weren't as fluid as we were at Burton. Defensively a bit hesitant during fair amount 1st half. Once again the defence won us the game with some stern 2nd half defending aided by Cornells great late second half save.
Good to see Watson beginning to show again and the back 5? all stuck to their task. Hoskins is now our leading scorer ! and his last two goals were all taken with goal scorer aplomb!  Not quite so sure about Lines but was a lot more influential 2nd half; Anderson gave a typical performance and contributed to one of the goals. As for Williams goal following a poor Salford headed clearance was a well executed volley. Never seen so many new faces many of whom were very young. Great scenes at the end but as I said to Trevor after the game "we just about deserved to win that one". Rain was a bl|**dy  nuisance.

.

Share equity only counts when in regards to Financial Fair Play when calculating turnover in  League 1 and 2, it's not taken into account in higher leagues. I would think that most investors would be looking to put their money in as loans, so in theory there is a chance of being repaid.

I’m sure not every other club threatened with the fair play rule has had someone to actually buy new shares...
