Fair enough, but are you also saying;- If we do make the play offs, surely his contract will be renewed? Or must he gain promotion?
Very clever and made me chuckle

Nathan Jones would be a brilliant appointment when Curle’s contract ends . Even if we get into the play offs I doubt we will get promoted and fear a Bradford all over again . Curle may of course get offered better terms elsewhere and leave of his own accord
There are quite few parallels to that season already, i could also see a repeat of that Bradford game happen.

Or The Supremes, who did it before Bananarama I'd have lost the joke to most of the audience if I'd have gone that far back...

I personally think Dan was clearly stating he wants a return to the club for Jimmy Floyd.

The over reaction to the Walsall defeat by some is fairly typical of those supporters who don’t like Curle and his style of play. Clearly Curle has done well to get us were we are! The message above is a case in hand of somebody who has nailed his colours to the mast and cannot now relinquish them. Unfortunately there are now a few ranging from the manic Tuks and Man04 to the barely disguised animosity of Dan to the drip by drip critical comments of some; typically from ‘supporters’ who wish for expansive free flowing football when we have not got the players to implement that type of performance! Perhaps Wadey is right we either go with the lteam and put up with the roller coaster ride.
To be fair, following the Walsall debacle is hardly the time to start relinquishing your views on Curle!

Watching the champions league tonight , I reckon Curle must idolise the way Simione sets his teams up to play .

So you're not a fan of Atletico's play then?

I reckon they should sack him. Boring anti-football.

To be fair , lots of people are not fans . At least they don’t play the long ball all the time and allow players to pass the ball .

A lot of negativity on here. From 1st Jan. we have played 9 league games and gained 16 points, continue this to the end of the season and we finish on 75 points which ought to be enough to extend our season by 2, maybe 3, games in the lottery of the play offs. This form over a 46 match season equates to 81-82 points ,hardly the disaster some on here appear to think. We were the only div.2 team to reach FA cup round 4, we may finish in the play offs maybe not but there are 16 teams below us who would swap places if they could. Let's get behind the team for the remaining games and see where it takes us.

A lot of happy clapping on here, from our last 6 games have produced 7 points, equate that over a season makes 53 just enough to stay up, not good enough from Curle but totally predictable given his managerial record.

An expected negative reply from man@work. Why not go the whole hog and say that our last three games have all been lost therefor over the season we would have zero points. Or you could have said that prior to those 3 defeats we gained 16 points from 6 games which equates to 122 points in the season. That of course is better than the 99 points we achieved under Wilder and on statistics makes KC the better manager so why do you keep calling for his head. Try going through life with a more positive attitude, who knows you might evev enjoy it.

Hey, I think you're on to something here with these short term stats! Looking at the Championship top 2 we find: WBA have 14 pts from 11 matches! Leeds have 13 pts from 12 matches! Looking at the top teams in League 2 we find: Wycombe have 13 pts from 12 matches! Peterborough had 10 points in 12 matches prior before winning 6 of the next 7, why didn't their owner see sense and sack him when they had the chance! In League 2 we see that the teams immediately in front and behind us in the table have: Colchester: 7 pts in 6 matches, and 14 in 11 matches! Bradford: 17 pts in 15 matches! (The only side out of these that did sack their manager) FGR: 10 pts in 15 matches! 'Equate' that to the whole season, and these teams would be in a relegation fight, I guess they'd better all be thinking about sacking their managers!
