To date there seems a huge improvement in the recruitment of players since the departure of the latter and the arrival of the former? It seems the players qualities are much more suited to what we need rather than well, I’m not sure what the thinking was behind most signings previously? I am wondering why there is such a contrast between the 2? How much do the roles differ if at all, and how much control and influence did/do they have comparatively? Melville’s performance was a bit of a mystery as he had worked alongside Wilder at Oxford so had some pedigree? Anyone have any knowledge about this topic?

Or could it be that KC has given his head of recruitment a clear mandate which, I suspect, the four predecessors didn't?
Easier to work to a plan when you know what it is.

I Think character, attitude and compatibility with the group have been weighted much higher in the decision making.
