In case we needed reminding;

https://www.theguardian.com/football/2020/feb/07/george-best-manchester-united-six-goals-northampton-fa-cup-1970

My recollection is keeping very quiet at Primary school in the week following the game. It was major national sports news at the time. All the lads thought they were Georgie Best in those days.

George Best - the man who used up all his money on women and wine but wasted the rest.

I was at the front of the Hotel End with my sister. The police moved us to the cricket side at half time.

I was in the Spoin Kop, have memories of having to attend a crap game (Bradford Park Avenue?) to get a voucher for a ticket, as long as we won the replay.

I was there on the Kop with my uncle who took me to all the games, at 6-0 he decided he'd 'had enough of this crap' and left taking me with him, as a 12 year old I had no choice but to leave too so I didn't even get to see our goals!! Never left a game early since though!

I was on the Kop. A 12yr old Charlatan,  I'm actually on the tele after one of Mr Best goals in a crowd shot. Where my other 50yrs went I've no idea. Oh yes I remember, watching our team! UTC.
