Genuine question.

Given DC's filthy record of inspired managerial appointments, how can he restore faith in the fans with a new appointment?

Seriously when some of you get your wish and Cardoza finally f***s off, and we're accumulating huge losses on a shoestring budget with those 3,000 attendances, you'll realise how f***ing lucky we are at the minute. Do you actually know how many clubs are on the brink of existence at the moment? Let alone actually paying transfer fees?

Ungrateful c***.

DC is a saviour!! who else has money to splash around?  whilst putting our club on a strong financial footing to even have money set aside for our tax bills for NEXT season already?

Plymouth Argyle just lost 10pts, Sheff Wed next (recently sacked all their scouts!!) ? endless list. If HMR&C start acting same way they do with 'non-footie' businesses they'd not be enough clubs for 4 divisions!!

And the timing as well, immediately just after Cardoza has dipped into his pocket again to pay out Sammo.

Ok, FAIR ENOUGH, I'll agree he's not got the best track record in managerial appointments. But if you actually think we'd be better off with him out of the club then you are utterly, utterly clueless.

I'm not Cardoza's greatest fan, and hold him and the board partly responsible for our relegation from League One two seasons ago. But whether you're happy with his past performance as chairman or not, you have to admit that it's been refreshing to see him finally get his chequebook out in recent weeks, and the buzz it created in January when he landed Harrad. TRSG's comments are uncalled for.

You might not be but I am very impressed with Cardoza today, very decisive! I'll go on record today and say the next man will be the right man. It has to be.

I was trying to highlight the inefficiencies DC has at appointing managers, although appreciate thats probably not how it has come across.

DC's record with appointing managers is (Calderwood aside), rubbish.

It's virtually entirely his fault that we got relegated in 2009, he should have been this decisive with Gray when it was obvious he was taking us down in March of that season.

Sammo should never have got the job. His appointment came off the back of a pretty woeful caretaker spell, and seemed to be based on sentiment.

DC simply has to get this appointment right. The wrong man could easily take us into the abyss of the conference.

Unfortunately, I think the only person who can sack a Chairman is the owner, and most owners make themselves Chairmen, so it's unlikely he is going anywhere in the near future.

Maybe they should make an Ofcom/Ofsted equivalent for bad Chairmen in football.

This is DC's chance to right a few wrongs. Let him actually make the new appointment before you slate him for it.

A somewhat clumsily worded point but I agree that with the sacking of Stuart Gray, (who has gone on to coach far better players than ours), you cant solely blame Sammo for the position the club finds itself in.

Its a combination of the chairman, the players and the coaching staff. What percentage relates to whom I'll leave up to you to figure out.

p.s ignore the lemmings on here, if they snipe at you youre usually barking up the right tree
