Steve Guinan, player manager, with Leon Constantine as his #2. Sounds like a dream ticket to me.

It has to be "B" Another big smile on my face. I always get the big decisions right.
Couldn't be happier, you can all blame me if it turns pear shaped. Up next year without a doubt and no need of the play-offs.

Also on the 'Please God no!' list: Peter Taylor, Steve Staunton, that fella who managed Hereford at the start of the season.
And for me, you can add Calderwood to that list.

Joe Jordan!! I'd love us to have an ex-striker on our staff, someone who knows where the bl@@dy goal is!! and bring in some discipline and inspiration. (Too many sendings-off & poor starts in matches have cost us).
OR
Gary & Phil Neville want to move into Management. Please apply as joint-player-Managers and bring us some cash too please. Yes, I know neither are strikers!

Well, he got us up last time!! He knows you need a solid goalie and back 4. Even Kevin 'bloody' Wilson got us a decent spine of a team.

Johnson would be fantastic.
I think the most encouraging aspect of DC's statement on the offy is that he says there will be a 'detailed recruitment process'. This suggests that DC might just have learned from his mistakes and will avoid a rushed internal appointment.
Personally I think we need someone with a proven track record in the lower leagues. We've gone down the inexperienced route and CC aside it hasn't really worked.

I'd be happy with Gary Johnson - win rate as a manager is just over 42%.

There is one thing possible that could put me slightly less downbeat about Sammo, and that is an appointment names Mr Johnson. Gary is an awesome manager and was never given a chance at posh. Would love him here. Still absolutely gutted about Sammo though.

Gary Johnson would be a great appointment. Lives in the area as well, I believe (sacked as P*sh boss a few months back).
If we're looking for someone relatively cheap, may I suggest Terry Brown? Done a great job getting Wimbledon to the top of the Conference in their first sason as a full-time club, and with half the budget of the likes of Luton and Grimsby, who the Dons have left in their wake. Been around the block on the non-league scene for years and generally quite successful.

Can people stop bleating on about Ray Wilkins and Terry Brown. Wilkins hasn't managed a club since QPR in the 90's. Terry Brown is pushing 60 years old
