MORTON. A lot of very good displays today though, Goode, Turnbull, Oliver (great goal) Lines was very prominent as well. Also IMO Hoskins put in a good display tracking their winger and also trying to get forward. I don't think anybody had a bad game. UTC.

Morton by a nose from Turnbull. I'd also add that I didn't notice Jones at all today. That's not a criticism; if you keep a clean sheet and have no recollection of your centre back doing anything it generally means they were just in the right place at the right time to snuff everything out before it became an issue, hence no memorable blocks or last ditch tackles!

Good performances all over the pitch, but defensively very sound, but Jones edges it for me

Nearly Hoskins for his penalty which settled my nerves and of course the game. From an overall performance it has to be Morton what a find!

Definitely Morton for me. I wonder if/when WBA go up he might be available on a long term loan or even permanent - this would be a great way to invest the money from the cup run.

Morton .........had wondered about the impact he would have had upon signing, but proving to be a very astute acquisition.
