I agree that is the logical option but as I said earlier, players contracts expire at the end of may so it would open a can of worms.
End of June normally.

Pretty sure they end at the end of June right?

Or, we could all follow Beds example and watch the match from the hill? Maybe Beds knew something we didn't? And what a hill that is at Forest Green!

Quite honestly , football is the least of the worries with all of this . It’s going to send more than just football clubs to the brink . At least they still get money from the league - some of us will get nothing .

Following the WHO's (imo, more over-hype comparing older fatalities with normal flu) report, it would be rather a knee-jerk reaction to be seen to be doing something. South Korea are leading the way with 10,000 tests per 1 million population per day. UK currently on 380 odd. That rather than knee jerk reactions would be the way forward...given Cheltenham is on today too!
Glad it was too. Fantastic day

Emergency EFL board meeting this morning - I'd be amazed if the weekend's fixtures go ahead as normal.

Does that mean the redevelopment is on hold? Interesting that the Prem/EFL have taken action contrary to Boris and his ‘scientific’ advice. Let’s go straight to the play-offs.

The SFL have done the same when Sturgeon had expected them to play until Sunday.

"Let's go straight to the play-offs" Not without unanimous agreement from all other party's involved - otherwise legal challenge. I presume you were being flippant though.

It’s a fair chance this could be the end of the season? In any event thats probably a minor concern. Without being overly dramatic or sentimental can I just say keep safe everyone.

End the season when the "all clear" (or whatever you want to call it) is received and cut/adjust the following season in such a way as to make it fair to all stakeholders. Perhaps Evers can tell us what happened during the last war ! (nb I jest Evers). As you say, keep well everyone.

Absolutely the correct thing to do. Football and all sports for that matter are largely irrelevant in this time of crisis. Stay safe everyone.

Wouldn't this potentially be a good chance to trial league football played through the summer months. An attractive proposition on a warm summer night I've always felt. Currently, I can't wait to get back into the car and some warmth especially after a night game.
