Some people on social media have been discussing what they might do if the 2019/20 season is totally cancelled in respect of season ticket refunds.

So I thought I would make a quick poll.

If the season is totally scrapped and no more fixtures are allowed to be carried out, would you be requesting a refund on your season ticket for the 4 home games which did not take place?

Given that so many STH's on here claim to be the life and blood of the club, putting in their hard earned money upfront, not to get cheaper admission of course but for the greater good and cause of the club's wellbeing, thought it might be a tad hypocritical to demand refunds!
Still have FGR, Cambridge and Crewe tickets, as well as train bookings for Crewe and two nights in a hotel in Plymouth that are unlikely to be re-couped...think will do Plymouth regardless tbf!

Requesting a partial refund would be pretty pathetic in my opinion. Current events are beyond anyone's control, least of all the club's. Why would you try to squeeze a few quid back out of them at a time where their cashflow is likely to be taking a hammering?

Anyone even considering this doesn't deserve a football club to support.

Spot on BackOfTheNet would be interested to hear the thoughts of anyone who voted yes, I guess they probably need the money to buy another 100 toilet rolls!

Well I don't share your views and am sorry of all people you voice such an opinion. There is no way I would request refund on an ST particularly as it was a gift; albeit to keep me out the house Shocked

It hadn't even crossed my mind.
However, I was considering a season ticket for Northants - first division of the Champ and a great looking T20 side. I wonder how the cricket season will be affected. The big games don't start until June I think but the Champ is due to start April 12th with the bulk of those supporters falling into the vulnerable category.
Difficult times and I wouldn't be surprised if it finished one or two clubs. Macclesfield were on the brink anyway, so no income for a month or 3 and bills/wages to pay could cripple them.

I would look at some kind of advance against the next one or two seasons Solidarity Payments. The advances would be taken back over the next few seasons against the remainder of the Solidarity monies owing. This would enable budgetary planning and it might even persuade clubs to keep their player costs down. New player contracts would have to be set at lower rates. We are all after all going to suffer in our pockets one way or another owing to this crisis.

Narcos & Narcos Mexico......

Not on Netflix but if you have Amazon Prime I can thoroughly recommend The Boys. One of the most entertaining shows I've seen in years.

Why not take advantage of super cheap British Airways flights to Thailand?

The smaller islands are perfect right now and life is normal, the sea food is abundant, the shops are full and the beer is ice cold. Self isolate on your own tropical beach!

Why stare at empty streets through your net curtains when a panoramic sea view private pool villa on Koh Samui will set you back as little as sixty quid a night?
