Having given this some thought couldn’t a suitably qualified mathematician preferably from Cape Canaveral or similar, apply one of those complex predictive formulas and algorithms against previous performance and current form? All of the completely unfathomable data for both sides is then placed in a computer to predict the likely result? Whilst everyone may be completely confused and bemused by the entire process, they simply accept the result with blind unquestioning obedience? This is also known as the Duckworth Lewis Stern method. So probably would require 3 mathematical geniuses then?

I have applied this method to what was to be our next game, FGR away, and it predicted that we would win by 17 runs.

Does anybody actually understand the Duckworth Lewis method? I certainly dont. So, having stayed at Tabasco Towers for the last seven days, with my little sniffle, I ventured out yesterday. Its chaos out there. The CO-OP has empty shelves, I do need some bog roll, but I risk being judged as a hoarder. Even worse, the Old house at home is shut, The Picturedrome is shut, The Crown and Cush is not changing any barrels at the moment. And I just been charged £1,837.47 for a full service, cambelt, waterpump, and MOT on my golf. That bill is going straight to my accountant. Tax return next month! CJ, let us know how you get on mate. A progress report would be nice.

Tabasco, I think I can help you with the bog roll situation, if you contact London Road P***borough they do a nice line in blue bog roll with their sponsors name on it, it will probably cost about £40 for each roll but you can cut it up into useable sizes, please dont flush it though as it is not good for the environment.

Alternatively, why not just s*it on the 'Boro Social distancing. And, frankly, if you are going to social distance from anyone it's the fen dwellers. Can you imagine the difficulty they must have washing their hands, what with the webbing between their fingers?

Good point Battery, and well raised. People out there, DO NOT flush anything other than toilet paper, or news paper down your toilet. Absolutely no kitchen roll. You will regret it. I have experience in this field. Trust me, I know.

ce the delay of the beginning of the cricket season to the end of May ? A blow to me. The Surbiton Trophy at the beginning of June also cancelled earlier this week. Wimbledon must be in significant danger now. Keep well.
