It has been mentioned already about the number of player contracts that expire this summer (June 1st?), but how does everyone think the KC contract situation will play out under the same circumstances?

By this, I mean what if the conclusion to this season gets delayed to the point of also affecting next season's start?

No one is going to get their contract renewed, it would be business suicide.

Exactly right, and whilst we’re on the subject......... sorry I can’t, I’ve bottled it.

Nearly half of the players in leagues 1 & 2 will be out of contract by 30th June so if the season isn't completed by then it surely has to be null and void.

But if the league extended the season wouldn’t it be the case that the transfer window would be closed making signing for another club impossible?

Can I ask, what if the club asked supporters to donate £5 or £10 a week between now and the end of the season? It then subsequently arranged for all games free for those supporters on ifollow including away games would anyone be interested? I would, and if we are genuinely interested in securing the future of clubs we have to try something?

If their contracts expire on 30th June they then become free agents and can sign for any other club from 1st July.

I think all the current rules and deadlines are subject to change depending on when we get playing again and when the current season can conclude. Today they announced that the season runs indefinitely. This is a unique situation and normal rules will change. The knock-on effects are going to very challenging.
