Came home from work last Wednesday, had a fever, slight cough, shortness of breath.
Breathing wasn't in the background anymore, I felt every breath, focused on each breath, extreme fatigue and was in bed 14-16 hours a day.
As of today my breathing has suddenly become a lot better, i'm not noticing myself breathe any more if that makes sense?
Loss of appetite, loss of sense of smell and taste, and lost 9lb in weight! Fevers on and off over the week, high of 38.5 and a low of 36.1, times of shivers and shakes.
Slowly returning to normal now thank god.....
Working from home sat at the laptop and found myself thinking about you, though not in an inappropriate way obviously? How’s it going me old mate, still on the mend?

Day 10 of isolation, had been able to work from home but today is the first day on Furlough leave, so no longer have work to distract me. It's Daddy Day care now as the wife is still able to WFH

Me too. My furlough leave started this evening and my wife works for the NHS so I'll be trapped at home with 4 kids for the foreseeable future!

My 3 are trying to kill each other already. Our youngest is already doing a fair impersonation of Charlie Goode with varying success. Although he is going for the sympathy card rather than a red card obviously?

Yes, getting there thanks, still off work, but a bit more active now I can breathe easier! Back to work on Monday probably....well, I'll be grabbing my laptop and doing most of my "work" from home too!

Great news, I was genuinely fretting a bit. Amazing how this board and the current circumstances can cause one to have genuine affection for mainly anonymous people? What’s that all about?

Those that I know that are with it, they have good and bad days, like 'man-flu' but worse, loss of smell and taste is the weird but acceptable symptom of it all from their experiences. Looking at anything between 7 and 21 days with symptoms. Good luck to all those who do have symptoms and hopefully get well soon. To everyone else, stay safe, stay healthy, heed the advice and reduce all risks that may attract it. Still working myself, a bonus being able to complete my commute in 25 minutes as opposed to the hour it normally takes. An emotional clapping gesture on Thursday night at 2000hrs for the NHS. It has been suggested that we do one on Wednesday for the essential parcel delivery drivers, we should all stand outside and clap anytime between 9am and 5pm... . (pinched)

A bit of good Cobblers news that Scott Wharton has been chosen in the League 2 team of the season (so far). His awareness and distribution, with a coolhead, has been rewarded with his selection.
Well done Scott and EVERYBODY stay healthy!

Many thanks for everyone's kind thoughts. Mrs. Baldy seems to be recovering, slowly but surely. Young Baldy and myself are ok. We're all worried sick about Grange though. I've heard that Dr. Feelgood is working on a cure. Keep well everyone.

No. Proper beer and fags. Phipps brewery for instance, are offering home delivery. Dont go to the supermarket for their delivery, go to their suppliers. And keep them in business. Its important that we look after the small business concerns. https://www.phipps-nbc.co.uk/Cheers for this! Not on social media and didn't know it's a thing. Have been craving some beer and love supporting local buisnesses, put my order in this evening for the next few days.

If supporting a local business is important to you, and you like Vodka, then check out this distillery. Its in Brixworth, and on your doorstep. He also delivers. Bit pricey though. https://jelleydistilleries.co.uk/home
