Nobody who has done any research at all should be doing this (bold above). The point of wearing a non-medical grade mask is to prevent you from infecting others. There is next to no evidence that 'face coverings' (as govt call non-medical masks) do anything to protect the person wearing one.
Edit: whilst I'm on accuracy... Would love to see the source of that 'helpful summary', linked above, on infection risks when wearing masks or not!
At this stage, as stated in the Trust advert, it's a fashion accessory that will provide a level of un-endorsed confidence to both the user and those in their company, which is something that has the potential to do more harm than good.
