I would imagine if people do it could impact the club financially or worse get the match abandoned on health and safety grounds. The last thing the club needs is a hefty police cost and to pay for fencing.

I would imagine a fence will be put up, have seen one there in the past but I think it was a few years ago.

Yeah, Man City if I remember correctly, so it was funded by a whopping gate. Pitching up to sit on the hill would be the height of irresponsibility.

So sitting on a grass bank is worse than sitting on a beach.

I won't be, but only because I won't have enough time between finishing work and getting to Northampton.

No, not at all. If you want to go and sit on the bank today then feel free. You'll almost certainly be the only one there. If you're thinking of going to sit on the hill next Thursday though, don't you think others might think of doing the same? Then it becomes a public health risk and may lead to problems for the club, not to mention yourselves.

You could term it as a peaceful protest against the lockdown and adhere to the two metre rule, wear a facemask if you really have to.
People being stood on the hill is nothing to do with the football club, I doubt they'd be getting fines for members of the public stood on a footpath.

Why? I wonder if some people on here are saying don't do it so that they can get away with it.
I don't have SKY or a decent internet connection so I intend to, rain or shine, whether you tell me to or not.

I just purchased a 1 week Sky Sports subscription with NOW TV, online from Currys at a cost of £10.00. Should catch most, if not all, of the play-off semi finals during the 7 days.

Never mind all this clapping for the NHS bollocks, this is the sort of altruism that really brings a lump to my throat.

It's outside, and most will watch it on Sky, so if a beach is ok then what's up with a grass bank?

As long as you don't exceed the group limits and maintain the social distancing, I don't see a problem. Unless the club/police advise not to in order to avoid any adverse publicity?

Does Beds still attend from the hill, if so can someone find out how he is whilst maintaining social distancing obviously. It’s been months now and still no word?
