If the starting line up has youth and not ineffectual players such as Watson and Oliver, possibly.

If we decide not to kill any momentum when attacking by letting Charlie Goode trudge over to take long throws which aren't that long, possibly.

If we decide to ditch zonal marking, possibly.

If the players ignore the football instructions set by management, possibly.

But none of the above will happen. So no, we can't do it.

Nice to see Stevenage face the (deserved) drop. Bottom place, clearly going down until Macclesfield suffered a series of points deductions, at which point, Stevenage try and change the League Two outcome to suit their agenda.
Horrible, s***e place and looking forward to going to Barrow and Macc next season... hopefully!

Yes, can see me oozing with confidence for Monday, whilst having paid £8 for a souvenir prog...that won't even arrive until we've been booted out of the playoffs!

Cautious yes - depends on team selected. For instance Lines might flourish in current play off scenario. Would prefer big Dai back and Smith back in. My views only.

So Arnold out. Who else Evers ? Oliver and Watson perhaps.

I'd want some more width - Marshall would provide this. Lines - not for me.

I thought you were a Sam fan ?

No doubt Hoskins will come back in but will it be at right wing back instead of Harriman (who has been a consistently steady performer) or midfield instead of Watson or behind the front 2 instead of Olayinka.
I would not be surprised to see Smith replace Oliver and maybe Cornell might get a chance. If Hoskins does play right wing back Pollock could replace Watson to add more urgency to the midfield.
Had Hoskins been playing in the first leg I am confident he would have put us 1-0 up from the penalty as he had been putting them away with aplomb. We would then have had a totally different game.

Hopefully! I don't see the point of NOT taking this approach.

Gung ho and hope.

You'd think the 5 subs rule would assist in this - little point saving yourself for 90 minutes unless you honestly think we'll get extra time.

Anyone think McCormack might be dropped ? He looked a spent force to me in the first game. Two games in five days may be beyond his recovery time these days.

I guess there are parallels with the 2004 playoffs with Mansfield, difference being the team was a lot better back then than it is now.

I like Sam because he is our leading scorer.
Oliver will probably start as might Marshall! No fan of Lines but he might just add some guile to midfield. Whether Watson will play is anyone's guess but he did not do a lot in midfield. Personally would add as much pace and guile to the team as is possible! Just can't bring myself to write us off as some are able to do quite nonchalantly. Just got to admire their realistic attitudes.

I don't know where people get the idea we were zonal marking from. More like we need to start marking and picking up players.

Your post suggests we were zonal marking rather than marking specific players - 2nd sentence.
