It's funny as I watched it with someone who doesn't watch much football and they really enjoyed it. They said we didn't mess around and it was far more entertaining that watching England pass it around for 5 minutes without anything happening.
There is a difference having pace and strikers causing hassle, as opposed to a centre half (bypassing the midfield) aimlessly hoofing it up to a lone striker with little chance of creating anything.
I don't think there was anything wrong with that style of play last night.
A non Cobbler supporting friend of mine said how much he enjoyed the game. "Proper old fashioned football and none of this passing back and forth like Man City". I know what he means .
