I have to agree. We've been sticking to the guidelines pretty rigidly throughout lockdown, but when we've been out for a walk the vast majority of younger people have adhered closely to social distancing, waited patiently to pass where the pavement narrows, politely acknowledged when you've done the same etc.

It's the older people who've barged past, not waited, not kept a distance when it's more than possible to do so and generally been quite rude. Not all of them of course, but disproportionately more older people don't seem to give a toss.

My impression is that a lot of young people seem oblivious to the risks. This is Based on situations in Supermarkets and even Abington Park. Although yesterday it was better observed. Anybody see that large group of teenagers streaming down PAN yesterday?

Interesting to note that the England v Wales international in October is due to be played behind closed doors...Plus Boris saying today that social distancing will be in place until at least November....Will this mean no fans at games until November at the earliest?

The COVID-19 discussion/witness evidence on here is probably the reason why Northants is on the current list of areas most at risk in the UK?

I don't know if this is typical of the rest of the country but town centre, the retail parks and outdoor parks (BBQs everywhere) were definitely busier than they would have been pre-lockdown on Saturday.
I nipped to town and it was heaving, when it is usually moderately busy at best, unless it's Xmas.
I'm sure it is the backlash of being cooped up for so long.
Still at least the face covering is coming in next weekend, only about 3 months too late. It's going to be some investigation  Roll Eyes

This is still not a given. Some scientists say so, some don't. I wear my mask(s) where I have to (including when shopping when I currently don't have to) but the fiddling round the mouth can't be  good thing.

I can't help noticing politicians being hypocritical on this when it's convenient.

Some people do perhaps deserve to be commented on concerning Their observation of Cov-19 guide rules. For instance beach scenes, mass demonstrations, Soho gatherings etc .  Never the case of seeing want we want to Or allocating blame. To me it is mainly common-sense. Have no issues with BLM provided they follow sensible precautions.

Buy individual tickets late in the day where sales are weak - the East Stand for example.

I know I'm odd about this but I enjoy being comfortable without people around me (seat wise - above, below and to the side). I enjoy the atmosphere of the stadium, the peaks and troughs of crowd noise, the anticipation of something about to happen but I'm happy not to be right inside it (particularly where the serial moaners congregate).

Wear your Dick Turpin outfit Shoey - you'll be ok.

So Kelvin wants us to spend £380 to renew our season tickets, I get he needs the cash flow BUT with the trend upwards on COVID-19 I canít see supporters inside stadiums this year, what happens then?
With the season starting in September we will miss at least 10 home games, that equates to £170+ in refunds, I need to see some investment as to where all this season ticket money is going.

Personal choice, isn't it. I've done mine, fully aware that I might not get to see a large number of games but writing that off as, for want of a better word, a 'donation' to the club. Not everyone would want to or is in a position to do the same, but these are exceptional times and certainty is going to be hard to come by.

Fair play, itís a tricky one, for me Iíll still probably renew but I would like an indication that there is some investment into the club and I donít mean the running cost either. Letís not forget most of the staff were furloughed.

I agree with this, I havenít renewed yet but intend to - being able to justify it to the wife when there is a high likelihood of not being able to go to any of the matches is a tough sell.

I cant believe the guile of KT with this. Its outrageous and he is the only chairman in the country selling season tickets. Once again the good fans of NTFC being taken for a ride by the chairman

I'm more than happy to give my cash to the club to help with the loss in revenue of no fans in the ground

He has already mentioned that season ticket holders will be given priority should have reduced capacity at some point
We should also be guaranteed a match day pass to stream any games we cant attend due to Covid, believe they're waiting to confirm that but should happen. That's usually around £10 a pop anyway.

If there was a significant number of games missed then I can see them offering refunds again as well

No one is forcing anyone to buy a ST, i've done it knowing full well i probably wont see all the games from the stands but id be giving the club that money regardless so I'm happy for them to have it

More than happy to have purchased mine. But I absolutely appreciate it needs to be an individual thing, without others judging.
