Well done for people power but its imperative that Johnson is given time. He got Bristol City within touching distance of the prem so obviously has something about him.
Next time you find yourself reaching for the computer to type a "Johnson out" thread hold fire. Atko was right saying you need two -three years to mould a squad to play your way. It took Keith Hill that long at Rochdale and he's done ever so well.

I mentioned prior to his appointment the importance of giving the new man time. Don't expect instant miracles. The remaining games will be used to take a good look at the squad with a view to getting rid of the dead wood in the Summer.
Yep absolutely agree, its about fulfilling our fixtures now, and of course finishing the season as positively as we can - but mostly for the manager to assess the squad and so on and so forth. |

That robbored on there comes across as a complete arse on that thread, is the only one who doesn't like Johnson...and then, you find out towards the end of the thread that it's because a few years ago, Johnson found out who he was and confronted him at Ashton Gate about derogatory things he'd posted. God helps us if the Hotel end is actually used by DC for decision making purposes though. If you wade through the dross from the halfwits on this forum there's a great deal of genuine football knowledge.Certain elite contributors, one of whom I consider myself to be, have been following this club for many decades.Nobody knows NTFC better than we do, and if DC does identify the quality posters that frequent this forum and taps into their priceless knowledge to help him, then that can only be a positive move. |
