That's a refreshing thought...wont have thought they would bother.
I see you're new. So to help you and others out. The 'officials' are Gary Willsher Head of Media, Nick Ancel Club Secretary (who both die-hard fans who played for Cobblers Supporters team & at been at club over 12 years), Andy Wooldridge Commercial Manager (Cobblers fan and my boss (as I am volunteer worker) so a superb bloke!) & Ryan Hopkins Box Office Manager (worked at Wembley & millenium stadium). All read this board at times to see what we think of them as individuals and as a group and to monitor club support (albeit we are a few of the 4-5000). So their emotions fluctuate like crazy whilst trying to do their best for club but as you see they're so few of them!! They are backed up by over 130 volunteers on match days!! Of course the board members read this too and lot of our major sponsors (as many are fans too). They read and listen to media, press, and trust too. So, I hope they read the public vote thread!!

You really are infatuaTED with me aren't you. As a matter of fact there is another very strong candidate who's not on the list, and I don't believe his name has even been mentioned. However, I'm not going to disclose any more of my inside information on this forum.
Well why didn't you just have added his name inot the pot so we could debate it and just not tell us you have the inside track!! Doh!

Peter Taylor &/or Steve Brown.
Failing that, Terry Angus & Clarence
Failing that, "Celebrity Football Manager" - a reality TV programme where each month you let a C-list celeb (Peter Andre / Goldie / Sam Fox, etc) take it in turns running a football club. They could do tasks each week to win money for new players in the transfer window. Whoever has the most successful month gets a 2 year contract. Graham Carr, Alistair Campbell & Georgie Thompson can be the judges. The bloke from Come Dine With Me can do the voice overs.

Dave Dee, Dozy, Mick or Titch ? Hope Powell ? That would get a lot of publicity.
Has any manager apart from Calderwood gone up in the world of football management post Cobblers? Assistant managers not counting. In recent years that is before anyone says Herbert Chapman. Didn't he do something quite good ?!

We've seen some for whom Johnson perhaps wouldn't be first choice, but is there anybody who would be particularly unhappy with Johnson?

Has anyone mentioned Chris Coleman yet?
He was last at Coventry right? Must live pretty locally and been out of work since last May.

Could any of them please tell me/us how on earth they think he's the best of that little bunch? !!

I was about to post the exact same thing, what reasoning is there for a vote for Crosby?

NTFC Trust have arranged an open forum for next Thursday 10th March at Sixfields. Guest ,at the moment , who have confirmed their attendance are Cobblers skipper Andy Holt and new catering and bar manager Paul Tyrrell. Andy will answer all your footballing questions and Paul will be there for all your suggestions for improvements for the eating and drinking outlets at Sixfields. We are hoping that we might get some other guests from NTFC but are awaiting confirmation on this ! This evening is open to ALL Cobblers fans , wether you are a Trust member or not. You will also be able to buy your tickets for the upcoming Quiz night. Please come along and have your say !!

If Holt is going to be allowed to talk at this then it is reasonable to assume that we will have a manager in place by then, given the current gagging order on the players by the powers-that-be. If not then either Holt won't have much to say or will suddenly become unavailable I expect.

It has to be "B" Another big smile on my face. I always get the big decisions right.
Couldn't be happier, you can all blame me if it turns pear shaped. Up next year without a doubt and no need of the play-offs.

Without wanting to sound disrespectful...we all have an opinion...this area is full of people with small town mentality who hate any form of change. They *probably want Crosby because it provides continuity and gives them some comfort because of this.

Read my post mate... he'll say he knows so that if someone other than those mentioned on here gets the job, he'll say he knew all along. Then when you criticise him he uses his name to say you're infatuatTED with him... He's really funny....he may even call you a Tw&t but he'll never let you know who he is... I believe he actually wears fake military uniform when on here to give himself a feeling of authenticity lol...
