This could be either really interesting or a complete waste of time. I'm not sure yet...it all depends on who is representing the club and if they are in a position to comment.... Huh?

I hope Ted goes...I'm dying to buy the man a pint lol...we can get wasTED together! Grin

Gary Johnson gets my vote, as we need another Johnson.

Was there a time when we had three, Gavin, Brett and Brad? Yes we do need another Johnson

at any other point I would love Mark Cooper here but we need experience to get out of this division...so yeah Johnson Please

I guess Ted's appearance will be depend on whether Mrs Ted has one of her turns. I've heard rumours that Ted is looking to have his own suite in the virtual hotel at Sixfield's that is being built!

Without wanting to sound disrespectful...we all have an opinion...this area is full of people with small town mentality who hate any form of change. They *probably want Crosby because it provides continuity and gives them some comfort because of this.

They are bad machines. How dare they have a contrary view? And they have made Crosby 2nd favourite. Lock the thread, hunt them down like dogs: out them to be ridiculed for not following the majority!

It has to be "B"
Another big smile on my face. I always get the big decisions right.

Couldn't be happier, you can all blame me if it turns pear shaped. Up next year without a doubt and no need of the play-offs.

For some reason, no body has actually tried to justify their reasons behind wanting Crosby. And probably because they couldn't. I mean, Crosby or Johnson? Come on mate...

My prediction though is if we play well on Saturday, they will all come out of the woodwork then. We will see!  Grin

I've seen Mrs Ted doing one of her turns. Very good, especially the extra bit at the end with the guy from the audience.  Tongue Grin Grin Grin

The gap is narrowing ..........
Johnson down to just 62% and Crosby up to 12%.
Perhaps the dream team of Crosby and Sammo beckons  Smiley

On what basis is everybody saying we can't get De Matteo , he was manager of the dongs, before he went to WBA and he's now out of work? To be honest ,as DC said ,with the players we've got we should be higher in the league , so out of work managers should be looking at this job thinking "I could do well with these players in this division" for another notch on their CV.

I'm sorry but as much as I hate to say it, MK Dons has a much larger pull than us. lovely stadium, growing fanbase, decent budget. He's way out of our league..

The poll isn't "who do you think it will be" but "who would you like?"  I actually would like Alex Ferguson as it happens.

On 20 October 2009, Allen was suspended by Cheltenham Town and placed on gardening leave pending an internal investigation into allegations that he racially abused a nightclub bouncer.[11] In November Gloucestershire police announced that no action would be taken against Allen concerning the alleged nightclub incident. He remained on leave whilst Cheltenham Town considered his future at the club.[12] On 11 December it was announced he had left the club

There was also some mention of him pulling his trousers down outside said nightclub

unfounded allegations mean nothing, but they were in a poor position in the league, which is more likely to be the reason he was let go.

I find the votes for Crosby extraordinary. On what grounds? He came here to help Sammo with advice and experience and that has got us precisely nowhere. In his interview on the BBC site he said he's going to change hardly anything, same line-ups, same tactics, it's like he's refusing to accept what has gone on before, putting it all down to bad luck. I can only summise the votes are coming from the "Sammo" brigade so that if Crosby did pull off a couple of wins they could say Sammo was just about to turn things round. I despair sometimes at the lack of intelligence of some of our fans, the club should ALWAYS come first!

I don't imagine it runs anywhere as deep as that. I suspect they may be taking the piss a bit...

Why else would I have voted for him?  Grin
