No surprise...other than of those who just seem to have no sense of subtle humour and let everthing go over their heads! More tiring than negativity is the accusation of such when anyone poses any kind of question!
What I said about always using the 'undisclosed' cover is valid. Sure as Welly has alluded to, there might be equally valid reasons for not disclosing but I know which looks better out there on SKY Sports!
Ok cool my mistake - obviously misread it and was wound up by other online negativity that likely affected my view of it. Sorry

Good luck to Charlie, that's a great move. He's going to have to learn to pass the ball sideways though and not just hoof it up.

Am I the only one thinking this thread is a bit OTT?!

Great piece of business for everyone. Loved every minute of Charlies time with us, a real fans favourite in his short time here, who has progressed to secure a deserved move, higher up the football pyramid. Would love us to try and get Wharton back permanently if possible, with some of the fee, as rate him in the same mould.

Isn’t it about recognising those players that make a real positive impact at the club, there are plenty of footballers happy to take a wage without ever buying into the club or seeming to care about its success. So when you get someone like CG who in his short time here was a great player for us, helped us achieve promotion as captain and as a consequence of moving on to bigger things has bought good money into the club, what’s wrong with showing some appreciation?. Good luck Charlie Goode.

So we spot a player who cannot hold down a regular place in another division 2 team and bring him in on loan for a few months. Before the next season starts we sign him and a year later sell him for £1-£1.5 million - what luck. Or could it be shrewd management? - Oh silly me I'll go and lie down in a dark room for thinking such preposterous thoughts.

That's right, let's not have any emotional engagement with the players who represent the club whatsoever. In fact who cares about results? We win and we lose - it's all the same. In a game increasingly full of bland mercenaries, Goode stands out as a footballer of character. We will miss his s***housery, his marauding forward runs on the overlap and his dominance in both boxes. The interview which Bingers links to and his farewell message really underline that there is real integrity beyond the s***housery. Selling him for that price is a great bit of business but he will certainly be missed.

The way he performed against Derby home and away told me he was a very good defender indeed . He was the best player on the pitch in the first game by far . In the play offs he was also used as an overlapping centre half and Harriman was held back . This was crucial in our win and something not many have picked up on . Good luck Charlie - lets hope we have some exciting newcomers in now .

Think he'd fit in with our style of play. Probably couldn't meet his wages though!

Chron reporting he was due some money from the club contractually but he’s instead donated it to the academy. What a guy.
