I had that problem on my laptop so tried my iPad which went straight in.  I think perhaps I’d left the iPad logged in from a previous game which could be why the laptop wouldn’t show the match

We thought wed cracked the code today to watch it on the TV. God no though...the fcuker started saying 'computer says no' shortly before kick off.

Plan B, for our football bubble of six...thats served us so well since the play offs...was the ipad resting on a small table in the living room. We all got to see it fine, but would have been better on the box.

Dont get why EFL are so bloody precious over their rights, when we've paid a tenner to watch it. I mean...what bloody pub/club is gonna cash in on league1/2 games? Stupid.

We've tried ipad - tv. i-phone to tv. Lap tops x 2 don't work full stop once kick off approaches. I've bought cables, on advice from this thread. We've tried everything to get it on the TV but so far, failed!

My problem is this. You cannot log out of ntfc.co.uk. Or at least I’ve not found out how to.

I set my dad up an account - but as I did it on my laptop I now can’t log in as me 🤷🏼‍♂️

Sorry to hear that, you missed a good performance, if ever the phrase the sum is greater than the parts, that was it.
Please email them at ifollow@efl.com, I did after the Bristol game.

They need to know how cr#p their product is. They've won the lottery with all of us unable to go to matches and they need to up their game.

Yes will do that thanks. It worked fine last week with the season ticket code. I shan't bother with the away games. I listened on the radio in the end, old Tim does get excited.

You can only login under yr original email that is the one you registered with! Why you cannot log off is a surprise. Just advise how you logged in whose name/account and whose registered email. PM if you like!

I just used an HDMI cable from my laptop to TV and it worked fine. Perhaps your laptop is older and only has a VGA port Huh?

Don’t use Apple for I follow just buy a gold plated HDMI cable from Amazon but check your laptop HDMI port as it is likely to be a mini port! UGreen do a reasonable priced selection. All you have to do is check yr laptop port and make sure it is compatible with the cable. If I can do this so can you!

I had the same problem as others, tried to connect my laptop to TV via HDMI lead and wouldn't connect, so went straight back onto the I pad , no problem . I can watch I Follow highlights on the TV , via the lap top and HDMI lead however, is it just a live feed issue?

When in ifollow for the first time I sat looking at a fixed screen for 5 mins but the commentary was live. Eventually I had the nous to press the little live button bottom left of the actual picture. Until you press the live button you won’t get a live picture!!
Perhaps some of you are failing like I did to press the live button!

We have a brand new laptop, ASUS one. Literally less than a month old. We bought an MHL2 cable, we've tried hooking up to the tv on my new laptop, wifes slightly older one and son's i-pad. As well as our i-phones.

It works fine on all devices until just before kick off when they start restricting it.

It even gets restricted on my laptop!

I-player works fine on the TV with all the other videos, just not the live stuff.

Last week we went round friends, and they had the same problem on an i-pad, and i-mac, again worked up until shortly before kick off (linking to TV) but then buffered when it got restricted. So we had to watch it on their i-pad!

I cant get my head around our others seem to be able to watch it on their TV!

I'm sure you're right Evers. I've got used to trying things with regard to using IT as eventually you work it out (trial and error) but I was lucky in that I've worked with it most of my working life. Many haven't and some kind of guide would often be handy.

The same trial and error method can work out badly with your electrics or plumbing !

There are various times of the day when broadband speeds slow because of the number of people down loading at the same time in your area. I thought this problem had been largely resolved in very recent years but apparently not. Someone with specific IT skills on here could probably advise the current state of play.

Anybody trying to watch iFollow on their TV... This is 2 ways i have got it to work without needing cables.

First Way
If you have a reasonably new tv (which has wifi access and is connected to your home wifi), use Google Chrome as your browser and cast the tab to your tv:

https://support.google.com/chromecast/answer/3228332?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en&oco=0

Second Way
If your TV doesn't show up when you try to cast (make sure your tv is on and on the wifi) then it doesn't have the required software. The easiest thingt o do is buy a Google Chromecast (£30) and then you can do the same casting a tab directly to your tv and when you put the match full frame on the tab it will go full frame on your tv!

Hopefully this helps some people.
