Well I think you're getting excellent value for money. could be a pound per goal if they carry on at this rate.

Certainly not boring!  Grin

What a moment for young Korboa, within weeks of signing makes his league debut and scores a goal.

Defensively we’re a f***ing mess. Looks like nobody has any idea where they are meant to be and there’s space everywhere.

Harriman is a better, more positionally aware centre back than at least two of our three centre backs.

Absolutely abysmal at the back there’s no leadership.

Awful show at the back, thank god for the front three keeping us going. Impressed with Ashley-Seal so far, Warbers having a good go at it as well, lovely free kick and Korboa looking bright.

On a side note, I imagine no pun was intended from Tim Oglethorpe when he described Bolger as looking "a little bit ginger"...?  Grin

The chances we are giving them ......we need to sort our shape out for the second half.

Bolger looked good in previous matches but looks shaky and even got a painful lumber injury for his troubles.

Harriman & Marshall are not covering back properly either...... although Marshall has been excellent going forward & Harriman missed a couple of late headers.

Yes, looking dodgy at the back, but a new defensive line needs time to gel despite looking OK in pre-season. On the plus side, the midfield and forward line has been excellent so far. I Korboa, Marshall, Watson and Warburton all looking good and I realy like the look of Ashley-Seal - looks to have strength and class. Despite the defensive mishaps we're stil on level terms. Hopefully KC will sort things out in the dressing room at half-time.

People need to calm down a bit. Some of the comments, particularly by NTFC Nut are absolutely ludicrous at this stage in season.

I know this might come as a shock to some of you, but it takes time for centre back partnerships to develop. We are starting the season with a completely new back three and inevitably they will take some time to gel. It was clear that our defence would be in a period of 'transition' as soon as KC made the decision to let Turnbull go. They are all decent centre backs on paper but it will take time for them to become a fully cohesive unit.

I am sure that Keith will sort them out but it will take time and we will need to be patient.

It might 'take time to gel' but do we have that time?

I'm not convinced it's actually about gelling, either - as professional footballers they should come with certain skill sets already, like general positional awareness and an ability to read danger. How often did Harriman have to pop up in the centre of the back three to cover Horsfall and Racic gallivanting off up the pitch? Stuff like that doesn't change through 'gelling', it's habit that has to be changed / coached out of them.

Wimbledon aren't great shakes going forward - only scored 39 in the league last season - and they could have had four in that first half. You're normally a voice of reason on here Bungle and I know you have a very measured outlook on things but you must have been concerned by that first half defensive showing, surely?

I'm quite liking what I'm seeing from Seal. Real handful. And Rocky for that matter. Surprisingly classy.

Either Racic has been told by Curle to play something we are not used to seeing, or he is still playing as if he is in Brentford.

Has looked really poor today, I'll give Horsfall the benefit of the doubt as hasn't played anywhere near this level.

Need another experienced CB in if this is a sign of things to come.
