Hate it when we fail to take good chances to kill games off.

Loving that Poxford and Boro are bottom 2.

Hate to say it but I totally agree, and not just based on today. Looks incredibly lightweight for such a big lad and constantly picks the wrong pass or tries to take it round his marker and loses the ball. Needs a loan spell and regular games against men rather than boys.
I disagree with this. He's very raw, but he grew into the game as it went on. He probably wouldn't be starting if Nuttal, Smith, Korboa and Ashley-Seal were injured, or if we've got our last striker signing done, but he did what he needed to do in a very tough role considering we're happy to lump it up long to him the majority of the game.

Credit where it's due Keith Curle, getting a win out of the players we had available is mighty impressive.

Absolutely... and deserved in the end too. We could have had another 3 goals in the second half and although Shrewsbury inevitably had chances too, the fact that we created a number of GOOD chances is commendable. Marshall and Hoskins were excellent second half and Chucky got better and better and may have earned himself another chance. Missilou and Watson were terrier-like in midfield and I must say that, although I'm not a Joe Martin fan and have had my doubts about Arnold, both played really well today too. There's clearly a lot to be siad for players having clear roles and instructions, as KC so often tells us.

Only 3 days ago some on here were all doom and gloom and ready to relegate us with our current squad.

That is a fantastic result!! Winning an away game with that squad is ridiculous. Massive credit to Keith and every player involved because that was a battle.

Fair play. Didn't think we'd get anything today with all the injuries...

Shows great team spirit & a firm identity thanks to KC

Well done to KC and our reserves team on a very very impressive win.

We now have only one match in the next 13 days so a chance for half of the TWELVE out with injuries or illness to return.

Do we know who was missing with illness - hopefully not corona related?

I’m sorry but Chuck should be nowhere near the first team, he’s lost out there.

I thought as he improved he actually looked a better fit in our system than Ashley Seal.

That’s one of the best results in recent years .
I didn’t give us a prayer .
Exceptionally well done to those lads on the pitch . That really was the bare bones and you wouldn’t want any more injuries at the back .
As for Chumbawumba up front - he is a prospect. I think he might need to learn what to do off the ball though .
A very good day for the Cobblers
