Could this match be in doubt? Hull played West Ham last night who have had 3 test positive for Covid so surely all the Hull players will have to be tested?

Definitely in doubt, all depends on the test results.

Question is are we generally testing our players? Not sure if Hull did prior to their game last night let alone afterwards.

Sounds like testing is not mandatory, which I find astonishing. It is left up to the clubs to test and manage the players behaviour, social distancing, not going to crowded pubs and restaurants etc. What a fcuking mess.

It's because the lower clubs cannot afford to conduct the level of testing that the Premier League can.

West Ham offered to pay for Hull players to be tested but they declined it. Only at risk if Hull actually test their players which is looking doubtful.
Can see how it could end season if teams dont test players and bury they heads in the sand and it spreads each game

Testing people from Hull was mandatory way before covid.

Only 2 players started last night for Hull that was in the starting 11 against Crewe so that will not be a factor on saturday. We are noted for being a physical team but Hull committed 24 fouls against Crewe which is exceptionally high.

Have we got a team for Saturday ? We got away with it last week but you wouldn’t want any of those youngsters playing at the back .

Will Mr Nuttall be in attendance I wonder? He has been with us for exactly 1 month on Saturday, has he even trained yet?

I kind of get what you’re saying (but possibly more regarding the forwards) but I’m not sure any of Bolger (28), Martin (31), Harriman (27) or Mills (30) could exactly be described as youngsters? There’s got to be an element of stick with a winning formula/lineup even if horsfall or racic is fit as neither of them have exactly been convincing thus far (although I do appreciate that hull are going to be a completely different kettle of fish than Shrewsbury were).

I was referring to the youth team lads on the bench not the players that started . I have no problem with those that played last Saturday and Martin looks more comfortable at centre half than left wing back . I wouldn’t want to see the youth team players at centre half though .

Absolutely, sorry I misunderstood your post. I agree that we wouldn’t want any youth teamers in the defence but isn’t the suggestion that the injury situation is improving rather than getting worse? I’d be more concerned about the forward positions if BAS, Nuttell and smith are still out - Caleb has done well but against Hull’s defenders it is going to be even tougher.

I don't blame Hull for not taking tests after seeing the fall-out from Leyton Orient this week. It's sensible that lower league clubs don't risk losing players for a couple of weeks especially when it has such minimal impact.
It's a shame that no fans are able to go and watch still. I can only hope some form of common sense prevails and fans can get back inside stadiums soon.
A big test for us on the pitch against one of the stronger sides. With a few players back from injury we should give them a good game, hopefully better than when my Cobblers childhood hero Jamie Forrester scored against us when Hull last visited Sixfields.

We took my in laws to that game. My father in law still bangs on about to this day. I think Richard Hill was the caretaker manager for that game.

You should know by now that KC never provides individual injury updates!

True, but it would be more fun taking a Yorkshire Tiger for a walk in Abington Park......

Although later that season we did beat them in the away fixture... With a beauty from Marc Richards.
