Ten years ago today quite a few of us were heading North on the M6 expecting us to get a bit of a hammering at Anfield, a view that was enforced when we went a goal down after 8 minutes ! Didn't turn out too bad in the end  |

What a night that was .
We didn’t have a fantastic side then but we had some characters .
Liverpool put out a side that largely sunk without trace thereafter .

Brilliant pod cast, was great listening again, still got nervous during the penalties!! Didnt know the team sheet got leaked to us either.
A day never to be forgotten thats for sure. Was lucky enough to watch every game in the cup that year and the Reading game was also a brilliant performance.

I remember being completely drenched and wet thro after the game, I was so happy, I could have stayed out in it for days!!

Would anyone else like Terry Angus back on radio Noddy, I would. He got a bit of National notoriety over that commentary if I remember right? By the way, whilst we are on the subject Abdul Osman is a free agent at the minute?
