Due a performance, reckon this could be it? 0-2 for me, and as everyone knows on here I am never ever wrong.

I would not read too much into Rovers being at the foot of the table after a mere 3 games as they have had some difficult fixtures. An opening day 1-1 draw at Sunderland (I think we would be delighted to get a point there) was followed by a 0-2 home defeat to Ipswich and a 1-4 beating at Doncaster, can't think that we would be expecting too many points from those games. They have lost Johnson Clarke-Harris and appear to be struggling for goals having only scored 2 in the 3 games. We cannot keep conceding 2 goals a game and if we can tighten up at the back we are capable of getting a positive result. Our historic record at Rovers is pretty good having brought home points from 58% of our visits.

And 100% of those took their toll. Not this time, scavengers!

am bemused you would quote such a comment. Have I got something wrong or have I inadvertently been misled.

Plus, apparently unlucky against Doncaster. We'll do well to get anything out of this one.

A Northants double header up the Gloucester Rd from tomorrow and the weekend! Steelbacks at Gloucestershire in the T20 QFs tomorrow, the Cobblers of course, half a mile further up the road at the Mem on Saturday.

Would love the County to grab the win tomorrow (I'll be watching the free live stream, coverage has been very good), to book another Finals Day place, although the weather looks decidedly ropey for the weekend. Last time the Cobblers got ported (2016) we won the T20 trophy. Perhaps a repeat ? As for The Cobblers the march looks thought than the table presents owing to who both sides have faced so far. I'd take a draw.

Oh well. The first one didn't go very well, did it?

Was working for the Steelbacks' innings (loose sense of the term!) but couldn't even be bothered to watch as Gloucs raced to within 70 odd runs of the target in a few minutes!

Definite lack of optimism on the Rovers forum. We are not as good as previous opposition but still do not expect to win and want Garner gone if they don't win. Citing similarities to Bradford's and Southend's slide out of division 1 with minimal points. We must be looking forward to playing against their back 3 and if KC has us up for it they expect to lose. Expect to have the usual 20-30 minutes of pretty tippy tappy football without offering any threat. Garner's only 2 wins have "come against teams that weren't at the races". Think I've found a forum with more negativity than ours.

If selected, as if there is any doubt, this will be super Sam's 200 cobblers appearance. It is writted in the stars he will score the winning goal.

Interesting that he played also played his first game for the cobblers at Bristol Rovers, when O'Toole scored the winner in the title winning season.

Really enjoyed that game; full house baying for JJOT's blood and he promptly scores the winner! What a great riposte. Miss him too!

And DCL was also on the bench as an unused sub...
