With the various additions to the squad what are people’s feelings about best starting XI. Hard to know really as we’ve not seen much of most of them. Know he’s unlikely to go 4-4-2 but so far Racic is a concern despite higher league experience. No idea about where McWilliams currently fits in.

                                            Mitchell.
                  Harriman.    Horsfall.      Bolger.     Mills.
Adams.        Sowerby/Missilou   Pollock/Watson   Korboa/ Hoskins
                Rose/ Seal.             Smith/ Nuttall

Is Rose available for Saturday for instance has registration been made in time for Saturday?

Just read Chron so Rose is available for selection!

I’m not completely convinced by either really

Our defence is where we still seem to be lacking in depth. The midfield and forward line seems to have a decent range of options and KC will have the manager’s dilemma of trying to get the best out of them and keeping everyone happy.

Hoping Korboa, Rose and Seal prove shrewd additions and add a decent amount to the goals tally.

I know what you mean, I’m sure with a half decent defenders in front it will make a huge difference.

Dear Mr Curle,

Let defenders defend
Let midfielders win the ball and CREATE for the forwards
Let the strikers work as a pair and bring the midfielders into attack.

SIMPLE......SORTED.......NEXT!!!

                    Arnold

Harriman   Racic   Bolger   Mills

Korboa  Sowerby   Watson   Adams

                   Rose   Nuttall

Maybe we will have some shots ON TARGET!!!

Discuss.

Whatever we do, Racic, Bolger and Watson should not be starting against Scum next week.

Without Racic, Bolger, injured Horsfall and suspended Martin, who is in your defence then?

It would help a few on here that if aforementioned players aren't picked who will you replace them with? Otherwise it is
impractical to drop all three especially Watson who not so long ago was the apple of our eye(s) and played ok/well against Shrewsbury.

I like Watson, but he's had a waning influence on the game since the playoffs, and I'd probably be giving a Sowerby a chance with Missolou alongside him with his current form.

Well you probably are aware that we are still in an open transfer window. So new blood in answer to your question. Seen enough of Racic to write him off and send him back to Brentford. I'm not writing Bolger off just yet personally. Remember him being fantastic for Fleetwood against us a few years ago and think he will replicate that in a back four. Fingers crossed Curle starts Dyche on Tuesday night to see if he is anywhere near the standard we need for the league.

It isn't impractical at all. What's impractical is playing someone who simply isn't performing and that is Watson. I'd even consider Lines over him based on his limited appearances this season. But as mentioned by Welly Cobb, Sowerby there.

We have the players for 4-4-2 or 4-2-3-1. IF we are not able to bring new defensive options in before next weekend, maybe a back four will suit Bolger and Racic better.

If we were to go 4-2-3-1 then you could have Missilou and Sowerby as the two, 3 from Adams, Korboa, Hoskins and Marshall behind Danny Rose. No argument surely that this would give us more creative options.....

I think I would be tempted to play this in a 4-2-3-1:

                               Arnold

                 Harriman  Bolger Racic/Horsfall  Mills

                              Missilou    Sowerby

                     Adams      Hoskins      Korboa

                                    Rose/Seal

I think 3 at the back is probably what we'll end up with, but we need another centre back before it becomes a viable option.

Evers old chum, Mr Rose our new striking talisman 👍

What all 5' 8" of him. You will be throwing him to the wolves - I think he will be better off with a striking partner so to speak. Nuttall even Smith or Benny perhaps we will sign Bogle as nobody wants him?

How about Borings selection:

 Arnold

Harriman   Racic   Bolger   Mills

Korboa  Sowerby   Watson   Adams

                   Rose   Nuttall

True your talisman is not in but I prefer him as a sub for Adams

Depends if we are continuing the hit and hope to the front game or not...
