Buy this player, buy that player, pay more wages blah blah blah. When will the fcuking penny drop? The singularly most important criteria for this season is staying financially solvent. The smart and indeed only option is to come up with a financial plan and stick to it. Not perhaps what many supporters want to hear, but there is little chance of us going down even if we get hammered every game? Make no mistake this season is the biggest single challenge football has ever faced and I reckon around half of clubs had gambled we would have supporters in grounds by the end of October? Most clubs were on their @rse before Covid and many simply do not have the resources or access to them to ride this out, that is a fact. Alternatively, hit the panic button and self destruct like many dimwitted chairman and owners probably already have? We ain’t getting supporters in the ground anytime soon and if the Premier League don’t come up with a rescue plan it’s goodnight and god bless for who knows how many clubs? Buy no more players, pay no more wages and off load any that you can right now should be the mantra of every supporter on here? Clubs are already making noises they have a matter of weeks left, please please try and understand the situation football is in?
Exactly
Precisely the point I made on the other thread
