No passion again. Adams way off the pace and Smith may as well not be on the pitch. Hopefully Arnold can keep us in the game. What is happening down our left, thought we would learned our lesson from Hull!

The lads are giving it everything An equaliser will soon be nestling in posh’s net
We have a master tactician in Keith Curle and I predict we will be unplayable in the second half
Do you mean unwatchable? Not good enough, not enough effort from the likes of Smith in “the” derby, he needs to come off.

Where is Mills actually playing??? Every attack is where he should be defending ?!?
Might need to bring Martin on to sure things up

This is the weakest Posh side I can remember us facing in the MacAnthony era. For a club that wants promotion, only Dembele looks like he could hold his own at the next level up, and they keep making basic errors and giving us the ball back. We've shot ourselves in the foot here with our inability to defend our left flank. If we can sort that out for the second half then we're still in this. We're having plenty of the ball in and around their box, just need to be a bit less shy about pulling the trigger.

Mills is all over the place, just as he has been since he started playing for us.

We're not being aggressive enough and the lump it up to Smith and hope for the best tactic is simply not working. It has led to us giving the ball away every time. As for their goal, they could have scored 2 before the goal from exactly the same move. I'm amazed KC hasn't already taken action on that as we could have been out of the game already.
More passion, more passing and less hoofing in the second half please.... and more closing down too.

Curle very much in.
He is a shrewd tactician and often mentions adaptability I fully expect him to use his tactical nouse at half time in order to change the flow of the game leading to us taking the game to the posh and putting them on the back foot. I fully expect Bernard to come on and have a big impact... He will be far too hot for the posh defence to handle leaving rose to clinically expose the fragility on the right hand side of Peterborough’s defence
I feel that once posh concede they will fall apart due to being bullied by the cobblers

The Scum look much sharper than us going forward. We're occasionally getting into decent areas but lacking any cutting edge and our attacks are all just petering out. Sowerby has showed some nice touches and Arnold is keeping us in it. Missilou is making a nuisance of himself as usual but other than that everyone is looking a bit too nondescript.

**** me why is Rose back there again? What the **** are they doing.
I reckon Rose has done more defensive work than Mills this half. Their right back could have had a hat trick and KC really needs to sort it out. We've had some good touches going forward but we're still trying to force Smith to play as an Oliver-style centre forward which is not really his game. I'm not sure I like this 3-4-3 formation. I think we'll see Seal or Chucks at some point fairly soon. I just hope that KC doesn't do his usual 'chuck all the big men on at once' routine, because that will play right into their hands in terms of midfield dominance.

This Is why I said we should play chuck, korboa and Ashley-seal upfront, they're hungry and we tend to actually play football like we saw on Tuesday. With Smith upfront we're lazy and tend to play hoofball.

I suspect it won’t be long until Marshall replaces Adams, he just hasn’t got going and his crossing hasn’t been great.

We need to bring on Korboa imo. Rose looking bright when he’s gotten on the ball but we could do with some of the flair that Korboa has shown previously. I’d also be inclined to bring on Benny for Smith if things don’t improve.

If we're going to look for positives, I do think Sowerby has looked good, and has a little bit more ball ability than we have in our other midfielders (unless you count Marshall as a Midfielder). I feel Hoskins is almost a bit of a luxury at the moment, need two Missilous so we don't just give Dembele our entire half pitch to play with, playing Rose, Smith and Hoskins means that we're giving up the midfield battle.
I sympathise for Mills, because he's being asked to go forward and score, and that will leave gaps, but you need to then have a plan for how to deal with it, and whatever the plan is, it isn't working. With three Centre-backs though, you'd think that one of them could come wider to stop the runs happening.

Excellent shout, theres a reason Adam's prefers the level below. Get The Marshall on and add a bit of pace up front by sending Smith thr same way. They look far too comfortable atm.

Mills is playing too far up front, h3 has made goals but someone needs to cover him. Sowerby and Rose have been ok and Hoskins unlucky with his flick. We are still in it but equally look vulnerable to furthered attacks.

What is Curle doing, taking Missolou off and Watson on, we’ve got even less bite in midfield now

Yet again Missilou is sacrificed despite being one of the few defensively-competent players that we have.
