No idea why you lot get so excited over this fixture. They always beat us and even if we did fluke a win we can't even be there to rub it in.
It might just quieten the doom boys for a game or two.

Unfortunately we have Brett Huxtable reffing this. I think it has been a while since we last had him but other fans forums have been very critical of him.

Seems like we are being given the Leagues most unfit referees. Alan Young, the ref for the Hull game, was carrying a few pounds but he's like a racing snake compared to Brett Huxtable, unless he's spent lockdown working out

I have no doubts whatsoever that everyone out there on the pitch for us will be acutely aware that this is a derby, and that it's the one that matters the most to the fans. There are enough people around the club who are aware that Keith will be aware and the players will be aware.
Don't think it'll make one iota of difference to the result though. We'll lose this one and probably by two or three goals.
Getting up for a local derby bugs me, shouldn't they be up for every single game? The players might give a few soundbites to please our fans but generally they won't give a f*** it's Peterborough. When was the last time they made the fans aware it was a local derby. 2006?

Also annoying that the media (outside of the County) believe that our 'local derby' is MK Dons!! I know that some on here will argue that it is but....

An original Glory-hunter? Not that I remember much about that period... 1967/68 was probably the first that I really remember, definitely not Glory-hunting from then...

Well I'm even more aged and wiser??? Nearly 75. To me the whole P*sh thing is summed up in 2 games where we went from being scared of the new league arrivals to absolutely nutting them.
1960/61 we lost 0-3 to them at the County Ground before a crowd of nearly 20K. Admittedly our beloved rivals had a fantastic team then. May 1963 before a crowd of nearly 18K, with 10k travelling Cobblers fans, we annihilated them 0-4 at London Road and walked Div. 3. Probably the happiest night of my Cobblers 'career'. Unfortunately, it's been pretty much downhill since. Time to start a renaissance?

I hope KC learns and goes back to Moulton for training instead of churning the Sixfields pitch up!

Well being pedantic, since 1966, if you prefer. I was referring to our record against P*sh as opposed to our general status though.
