I agree, but shouldn't Horsfall be there as well? All 3 Centre-backs seemed to be marking one man, though I'd have to see the replay again to be sure. Either way, there is no way that Rose should be the furthest man back.

Could we not teach Smith how to head the ball and convert him into a CB? This would solve 2 problems. Get him out of the forwards and give us an extra option in defence. We sort of did this with Derek Leck in the 60's, useless CF but turned into a very good wing half.
