If Martin "taking his chance" is getting a totally unnecessary booking in the 1st half at Bristol and then swinging an arm to get sent off, then I wish he hadn't taken it. Him getting sent off and the Bolger giving away an equally stupid penalty cost us the game, I would have expected experienced professionals to have more sense.
Trying to be positive on a much maligned player. Simple fact that since his recall Martin has played above expectations. As for Bolger prefer not to join in personal negative criticism!

I have no issue with players putting themselves about a bit, a rush of blood but as I said surprised at his performances as generally he has worked hard and positioning has been good and has been better than I expected in that new role where his lack of pace is not as exposed. Why would you expect professionals to have more sense, pretty much every player I have known has had a rush of blood at some point

I actually feel disappointed that Warburton has been moved on. Did well against Wimbledon and scored a good goal. Put the cross in for Hoskins to score the second goal at Shrewsbury and worked pretty tirelessly along the wing that game. He was no worse than any other player in the Hull and Rovers games, in fact he put a good cross in that Hoskins didn’t get to that might have got us back into the game vs Hull. He has probably contributed more than Smith so far this season and to jettison him now looks a little premature. We no doubt will see how it pans out as the season progresses.

There's a lot of competition for his position and he had plenty of chances last season.
A shame because he's a hard working lad who I would have liked to see come good.
Presumably Yeovil will be paying a fair chunk of (or all of) his wages for the rest of the season.
Get Lines a loan move as well and spend the cash on an extra CB.

I imagine this move had been lined up a while ago but could not be given the green light until the National League commenced playing again.
