I've got sky but not BT. I can add BT Sports but at £25 per month extra! Blimey. Can do a 1 month rolling contract. Not sure I'll bother. Any other legal options?

I have BT but not Sport, though used to with EE package. Phoned BT to get month - just £12 extra as already with them. Told chap not so bothered about Champions League etc, just a game on Monday. He asked who. Then we have a chat for 10 mins, he asks who I'll be supporting...Montrose fan!
To be fair, for the £25 (you can cancel after one month) BT Sport will give you Champions League, Bundesliga, French leagues as well as National League stuff...and the Cobblers on Monday night!

I've just signed up for the BT sport APP through EE. Its free for 3 months. Not sure if this is an option for none EE customers though. I just hope it works so I can watch the game.

I've had BT since it started as I have BT Broadband. It was just £3 for the first year and that was only if you had the HD option, it was free otherwise. I think it's about £16 now. I have to admit I watch more football on BT than I do Sky as I would rather watch the Bundesliga and The Australian A league than the prem. I also quite enjoy the National League.
They show cricket from time to time too, but Sky beats them there.

Preview to the game with City manager David Oldfield. Quite complimentary towards us. Pal, Patrick doing the early part of the interview.

We have never played Oxford City in a competitive game before so no head to head stats for this one.....
City finished 14th in National League South last season after the schedule was curtailed by Covid, and a late start to this season means they have only played 4 league games. Their last game saw their first defeat this season as they fell to a 2-0 home loss to Hampton & Richmond. To get to the first round proper in the FA Cup they have won at Royal Wootton Bassett Town (2-1), home against Tamworth (6-1) and last time out claimed a fine 3-2 win at Weymouth thanks to an 88th minute winner from defender Lewis Hall.
Paul Howard will referee the game, he is a first year EFL League referee having spent two years on the senior non-league circuit. He has reffed 7 games this season, the last at League 1 level, and handed out 26 yellow and 1 red cards. His stats show he has refereed 41 games over the last three seasons and has never been involved in a game where he has not shown a card!

David Oldfield come across as a really decent bloke. I think the pitch will have more of an effect than he says, but we should win this easily

It used to give off small clouds of black underlay with every sliding challenge, when new!

I can’t see Ricky playing in this game or probably Sheehan . I don’t see how these pitches are allowed at any level . It’s an unfair advantage .

Ridiculous comment - clearly you have no experience of them! You wouldn't know the difference - it's not Luton Town, PNE or QPR from the eighties! If you had seen the previous quagmire at (aptly named) Marsh Lane, you'd be very happy to watch the Cobblers on a 3G pitch!

Is that like one 3G pitch put on top of another? Bit like an expensive carpet laid on top of good quality underlay! Break out the slippers...

So what is your team for Monday? Personally will be disappointed if Ricky does not play. - for me, he brings hope and some quality.

I would think with no crowds at present and potential prize money we would potentially go strong.

With al the furore over Pay Per View, I would have paid £14.95 to watch it in glorious HD. As it goes I've actually gone and added BT to my Sky Sports package for £25. I'll watch some other games no doubt. It's a 31 day rolling contract. That will cover round two of the FA Cup also, I like the early rounds with the non league teams on.

BT sport is way better than sky and the biased broadcasting company, think you’ll enjoy it 👍

Not necessarily. I've had lots of experience of these pitches and they are not good for anyone who has back injuries. I've had two discs removed and always have to extend my recovery time after matches on the 4G. I receive similar comments from players about the effect it has on muscles, especially in the back. It's a call whether KC and his staff risk Ricky Holmes for this one, bearing that in mind.
