What exactly did Curle bark at Mitchell after the awarding of the penalty? Can't quite make it out although the 'f' bomb can clearly be heard in the highlights video!!
A surprisingly good performance but we need to back that up now against Rochdale.

So do I Thought it was pretty clear that the remark was aimed at Clough as he is now at Mansfield as opposed to Burton - puzzled by those who think otherwise:

I almost dare not say it, but could it possibly be that the squad is not quite as bad as some feared?
My take is in terms of ability this squad is probably as weak as feared but in terms of playing as close to potential and gutsing out some results you can’t really fault the players and as it stands today we are higher in table than teams with arguably better players. I think if the team gets the odd result here or there and don’t let their heads drop when they inevitably will go on a run where things don’t go their way then there is hope.

There were a number of good individual performances and credit to the whole team but for me Holmes made a massive difference - creativity, making space off the ball and an impressive work rate - at times his vision looked a class above his team mates but at the same time making them raise their game. Pretty much for the first time this season we used the midfield for sustained periods of the game and didn't that make better watching (along of course with the result) - I still think its going to be a tough season but yesterday suggested we at least have a chance of survival.

Yes I agree this Tim O love affair is getting boring and embarrassing I bet Holmes cringes at the thought of it. It is not in the psyche of Radio Noddy commentators/experts to ask searching questions- hark back to the days of Cardoza to remind yourselves how weak the local media were in getting to the truth of what was going on at the time at Sixields.

No mention of the playoffs?
Not sure what the playoffs have to do with my remarks.

I thing he's been using Highly Ironic Acid in his posts to paper-over the cracks. He has also been o.d.'ing on emojis.

Creativity over grammar every day of the week. We are living in an age where Bob Dylan won the Nobel Prize in Literature afterall.

That's now just 1 defeat in the last 4 league games. Crisis, what crisis?

I like to think he told Horsfal that he has to cover his team mates after the Accrington goal and then shouted "no not f***ing Mitchell" after he came out and punched for him

Yes it was, but during the FA cup game in January...
It’s one of the ambiguous quotes often seen on here!

Buster, It’s one of those ambiguous quotes often seen on here! Remember that Marquis dry humour comment was based on SOG cryptic message. He (Marquis) could not resist the temptation to expose SOG comment as an ‘keep up’ hint. If you are able to interpret correctly the thoughts of SOG - well done you.

You’re not keeping up yourself Evers if you think there was anything cryptic in SOG’s comment. Marquis just misunderstood which game he (SOG) was referring to in response to Carlton’s previous message. [Carlton]: Did Burton play the "Goal" music after their pen? They did play it when they scored to make it 4-2 in the 90th minute in the FA Cup match in January. [SadOldGit]: Yes. Clough was staggered. [Marquis]: I bet he was. He's been manager of Mansfield for the past fortnight Nothing ‘ambiguous’ or ‘cryptic’ there. SOG meant Clough was staggered after they played it during the FA cup match in January. Marquis’s little dig was based on a misunderstanding that he (SOG) was referring to Saturdays game.... Clear? (No, please don’t respond)
