There is a high level of hypocrisy here. I have read messages from loads of folk on here, particularly since the pandemic, concerning themselves with the finances of the club. That we should sell Goode for the wonger, that we shouldn't offer long contracts, that we shouldn't require refunds for games we don't get to watch, that the land deals should benefit the club, that they couldn't care if we got relegated so long as we survived, that the club should buy cheap - the list us endless. However, when it comes to the bottom dollar everyone is jumping up and down. If it is all down to finances then surely the obvious move is exactly what shoemaker is suggesting? The other option is to raise the ticket price, season ticket holders just paying the difference.
